The OFFICIAL Steve Kan Tuning Session Thread - In Northern VA!!!
Man, I wish my car was up to par to get in on this. I am trailering my car right past Northern Virginia on saturday to go to PFSupercars in Maryland. Unfortunately, I have an issue with my car that I know Steve doesn't have the time to sort out and dyno. Good luck to all especially Austin. What can I say, I'm biased. Go GT40R.

Max, as long as your car isn't running really rich then they should be fine. I've seen cars make as much as 30 + extra HP from changing the spark plugs alone!

Surcharges based on late registration are NON-NEGOTIABLE. They were mentioned *clearly* in the first post, and the schedule along w/ fee breakdown was consequently based on this pricing structure.
phinsn98, we were able to manipulate the schedule in such a way that you WILL be dyno tuned as originally promised. So now that your concerns have been alleviated, we're going to require you to come through for the tuning session as planned.
I'll also extend a reminder to all that b/c of the irreversible plans involved in tuning sessions (booking dynos, flight tickets, etc), all deposits have been, are, and always will be NON-REFUNDABLE. Hence why we don't proceed w/ reserving a date w/ Steve until we have enough deposits (b/c those deposits are guaranteed). No one has ANY plans of going out of pocket on these types of events, so your understanding and cooperation in this matter is most appreciated
Thanks!

Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
Kenny, as I clearly stated, the surcharge was applicable to ALL who registered after the first 5 cars, regardless. These events are expensive, and many things had to be paid for in advance. As such, we all have expenses to cover. So sorry, but rules are rules. The info is correct and won't be changing. Please make the necessary arrangements, b/c we will NOT be negotiating or making adjustments tomorrow or Sunday, and payment in FULL *will* be required prior to getting tuned.
Thanks for your cooperation,
~Ramy

So, how did everyone do? I rode past northern VA today twice on the way to and from PFSupercars to drop my car off. I was hoping to see some 7s and stopping by to see what was going on with you guys, but I didn't.

Yup, we lost the motor. It wasnt steves fault, we have no idea why it went. Front rotor has no compression on any faces. It was a dead 11.5afr, with the boost at 8psi when it blew. The car made 307whp at 8psi, so would have been around 400whp on 15psi.
Hey guys , Im dead and will provide more info tom , but I cant say thanks enought to EVERYONE out there . Sorry I was not able to sit and chat with everyone , but I had my hands full as you guys could tell . STEVE KAN IS THE BEST .
I cant say it enought . more details to comm tomm
For now good night . Ive been up since 3 am yesterday
