Well the problem is the shop. Nothing against them ramy, but they are limiting our time. At sessions in DE, we go until all hours of the night. Steve pops out 6-7 cars at those. But will only be able to do a few this time, due to them closing up on us early. Have you asked if we could get an extension on saturday instead of having them open sunday ramy? You should still come and hang out, bring your money incase there is a problem and a car doesnt take the full time. HOPEFULLY no one will, it always sucks

I'll be driving up from Virginia Beach and I really don't care to have to drive that far for the hope that I might get some of Steve's time. It might be a good time though for Ramy to sell product and kind of turn it into a club event and attract people aside from the tuning sessions.

turbodrx7, the shop in DE only stays open that late b/c we know the owner personally. He's a friend (and a great guy I might add). Other than that, NO shop wants to have to deal with a 12-hour DYNO day, which means you're running 15 hour days EASY when you factor in opening, closing, setup, and cleanup. Fat chance of finding someone who'd do that for ya.
David, I could very well have an open-house typa sale, but a) I don't know how the shop would feel about that, given I'm not affiliated w/ them, yet selling products on their site. And b) what would I bring? I have sooo many parts, it would be virtually impossible to choose what ppl would be interested in buying haha.

ok here goes . Guys i have several different cars and have built my motors , I race locally here on an oval track and think the stock set up is plenty fast enought , but I want to make sure my map is good to go . I also run the same car or maybe another in a 1/4 mile track and would like to have a map for this type of racing . I hope this clears it up . I will try to contact the other guys to see about switching days and have no problem paying the difference .
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Heck I might consider passing the dyno run up for a good deal on a KnightSport HID kit light kit.

Ok guys I MUST have a FINAL count by this weekend. Absolutely. No questions asked.
A) It MAY be possible to fit in 6 cars on Saturday, and another 2 on Sunday, assuming I get 2 more deposits.
B) If not, we'll aim for 5 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday, assuming, I get only one more deposit.
C) Also, there's the possibility of a leftover car (if necessary) travelling w/ Steve and 2 other cars (scouts) about 30 min away to a more police-friendly area for a street tune.
D) If I don't receive any further deposits, we'll prob try and cram in all 6 cars on Saturday, and if a car needs some fine tuning, it can be done on the road via the scouts as mentioned above.
Anyway you have it though, I MUST have a final count by this weekend. If I don't receive any further info, I'll plan according to what we have here and now, and no changes will be possible (as I have to pay the dyno shop up front).
Thanks,
~Ramy
PS: phinsn98, I'll do what I can to hook ya up regardless

We now have 7 cars confirmed, w/ 2 pending, so we'll DEFINITELY will be doing 4 hrs on Sunday as well. Leftover cars will have to be street tuned w/ scouters on Sunday in a different location (away from Ffx Popo).
Namasan:
1) Please make sure you're aware of the surcharge for Sunday dyno time
2) Please provide me w/ the info I need, as per the last few posts
Also, AGAIN, EVERYONE BRING YOUR WHEEL LOCKS!!! YOUR WHEELS ***MUST*** COME OFF FOR THE DYNAPACK!!! Cuz I just KNOW some cat's gonna be like "yo man you never told us..." lol.

FDnewbie,
I need mud flaps, 99 spec front bumper and rear wing. Are these parts painted and ready to bolt on? do you have it in stock? I'm in northern VA so i'll come and pick up.

Ok...here are the remaining housekeeping items...
A) Please check the list below, verify all the info, and include any missing info as necessary. We will do our best to finish tuning 6 cars on Saturday.
SATURDAY
We're running Kenny & Greg first since they're coming from a distance.
1) George "Kenny" Rogers (VaGambler): 90 GTU with S5TII with a mild port with 3 mm seals, stock setup. Preferrably first, so you can have time to be ready to be tuned again at the end of the day
2) Greg May (gmizzle): S4 TII with 850 injectors, ported intake, stock turbo, FMIC, running a Microtech LT 10. Greg, plz note that the additional late deposit surcharge will still apply, even though you're going on Saturday.
For the rest of the dyno session, we'll try and get Kenny back on the dyno as soon as he finishes switching his setup. As such, if any of the locals (Brian, Vladimir, Mahlon) mind getting bumped to last, that would be great So the following is the *tentative* order:
3) Brian Walter (turbodrx7): FC w/ T-66, stock ports, Microtech LT8S, 15psi
4) Vladimir Barr (Max_Spd): FD, HKS T04R, 10-16psi
5) George "Kenny" Rogers (VaGambler) again: 90 GTU with S5TII with a mild port with 3 mm seals. Turbo size? Injectors? How many maps?
6) Mahlon Atwood (2gslse): Streetported FD, RX6A single turbo, FMIC, 550primary/1600 secondary, PFC w/ 3 bar map sensor. Tune to 15-16 psi
SUNDAY
7) Continuation of 6th car from Saturday if not complete
8) Nam Hoang (namasan): FD, Vmount, stock twins, PowerFC, datalogit, PLX Wideband-SM-AFR + DM-5 AFR, 12psi
9) Realv8huntr (pending receiving a deposit) - May necessitate a street tune if time runs out.
phinsn98, what's the final word? We can definitely street tune you at this point, but it's not too likely we'll be able to dyno tune ya. Lemme know ASAP.
Thanks!

- 99spec rear wing is in stock, used, so you'll save a good bit of money on that. It's painted VR.
- 99spec front bumper I'd have to order and have shipped to me, so for the same cost (and due to time constraints), you might as well have it shipped directly to you (since the cost would be the same). And the 99spec front bumper comes UNPAINTED.
Thanks,

Ramy I made the deposit now how about that KnightSports HID kit, Mazdaspeed Carbon Fiber/aluminum break handle, hood dampner, 99 spec tail light, If you have all this stuff sitting there when I pull up I'll go into shock. We should do this again in the near future but a more well planned rotary tuning session, show, swap meet and vender ala FDNEWBIE and Ray from Malloy and Steve representing his company. We can do it at VIR and have a track day too. DAMM I'm rolling here.

and if we do mind about being bumped to last? I mean there was a reason that i hurried and got my deposit in third. Now you are trying to bump me to sunday! I have been there with you all the last time you tried to get this going and no one wanted to do it then and now you want me to get bumped to sunday NO Thank you!! I to, like everyone else have to work around other things to get this done. Everyone has an excuse of why they should go first and that i thought was settled by the order that you recieved the deposits! My gf b-day is on sat. i worked this into my plans because i was third on sat. now you want me to do sunday That is not ok!! Sorry but i thought that was the whole reason of having the whole get your deposit in thing!

I think it's kind of unfair to say it's not well planned. We have people making all kinds of requests so we have to schedule the best we can. now if everyone was willing to travel to Delaware then this would have been much easier, but the fact is most people are not.
If we get through the 6 original cars on saturday then I don't think there will be a surcharge to gmizzle correct Ramy?

2glse- You are right to a point. Yes you put your deposit at a certain time, and that does GUARENTEE you a spot at the tuning. You are scheduled for saturday, As the cars that are before you are not crazy setups, i dont see anything saying your car shouldnt be finished on saturday. You are completely right, your deposit was in when it was, and you should without a doubt have your car tuned saturday. I dont mind going 3-5, although i cant be last, since if my car is not finished, i will not be getting finished, i have work sunday and a 2 hour drive back as well...Personally, i think Kenny should be last on saturday since he already got one of his tunes, and everyone else should be done first. Everyone can bitch, its just who does it the most gets what they want.

Ok first, I need everyone to step back, take a deep breath, and RELAX. Seriously. Because I'm not gonna deal w/ anyone's emotions. Lets sort this out LOGICALLY.
Second, I won't tolerate personal attacks or pointless criticism. Dan and I are going to great lengths and giving up our entire weekends without ANY kind of reimbursement for our time and efforts, simply to help YOU guys. At least show your appreciation for that by being respectful, k?
This is what we have thus far...
1) Dyno is reserved for both Saturday, 9 AM - 6 PM, and Sunday 9 AM - 1 PM. This is done with.
2) We have several hours after the dyno time is up on Saturday (from 6 PM onward) to finish up any cars via road tuning as necessary. Likewise, any cars not completed on the dyno on Sunday will be completed via road tuning on Sunday.
So here's my suggestion: Who among the following individuals (Kenny, Greg, Vlad, Brian, or George) doesn't mind finishing up after 6 PM on Saturday (IF NEEDED), with a road tune? Ie, if we can't finish your car by 6 PM on the dyno, Steve will finish up the tune on the street. The car WILL be finished on Saturday though. I think if one of you guys can volunteer for that last spot (again, you'll STILL finish you tune on Saturday, don't worry), then the problem is solved. Otherwise, I will simply set the dyno order in the order the deposits were received, no exceptions. So if you guys don't start working together, that's what's going to happen.
TIA for your cooperation,
~Ramy
