1. Yes the tuning is held in VA
2. that depends, generally Steve can tune about six cars a day. I can talk to Steve and see if he can do seven, if he can't then sunday may be the only alternative...and a street tune at that.

yes agree, Fairfax cops don't play around with that stuff. I don't mind the street tuning on drivebility but not the WOT runs. My wastegate is dump to atmosphere. NOWAY...

Ok guys, here's the update.
1) THE COST OF STEVE KAN'S TUNING HAS NOT CHANGED. IT REMAINS THE SAME.
2) PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR AN UPDATE FOR THE COST OF DYNO TIME.
Also, please note that while Dan and I are "sponsoring" this tuning session, neither Steve, Dan, nor myself are in ANY way responsible for *anything* that occurs if one chooses to do a Road Tune. This is my *stern* reminder to everyone that in VA, you are VERY likely not only to get pulled over, but to get thrown in jail for making WOT runs, esp. once you pass 80mph (which means no 4th gear pulls). In fact, I will be *strongly* urging Steve to refuse road tunes due to this fact, b/c I doubt he wants to do any jailtime either
Having said that...
A) Tuning will begin at 9 AM SHARP. Due to the tight schedule, if you're late, you'll lose your turn. It's that simple.
B) We have the dyno for 8 hours on Saturday (9 AM - 5 PM). And as previously mentioned in the first post, the first 5 cars to send deposits secured their spots on Saturday. So that leaves just a little over an hour and a half per car. A bit tight, but doable. Price is $175 flat fee for the dyno time.
Those running on Saturday at $175 FLAT FEE for Dyno Time:
1) George "Kenny" Rogers (VaGambler) - preferrably first, so you can have time to be ready to be tuned again at the end of the day
2) Brian Walter (turbodrx7)
3) Vladimir Barr (Max_Spd)
4) Mahlon Atwood (2gslse)
5) George "Kenny" Rogers (VaGambler) again
C) Also as mentioned in the first post, any deposits received after the initial 5 cars are subject to an additional $85 surcharge. This is NOT something that Steve, Dan, or myself are doing; this is to cover the extra charge we'll incur of running the dyno on a Sunday. We will have room for prob 2 cars on Sunday, so for those 2 cars, the dyno flat fee is $260 per car.
Those running on Sunday at a $260 FLAT FEE for Dyno Time:
6) Greg May (VaGambler's friend)
7) Realv8huntr (pending receiving a deposit)
8) phinsn98 (pending receiving a deposit)
Realv8huntr or phinsn98, whoever I receive a deposit from first (please see the first post in this thread for the details) will secure their spot on Sunday. Whoever is left will be standby; ie, their spot is NOT guaranteed. IF we finish early or on time Saturday night, we're allowed to go up to one additional hour overtime (up to 6 PM). That should get us about halfway done with one car, and we can finish it up first thing Sunday morning. That would give us enough time to tune 2 more cars on Sunday, bringing the total to 8 cars over the course of both days. But that is NOT guaranteed; it all depends on how tuning goes on Saturday. Needless to say, if you don't get tuned, you'll be refunded.
Also, DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR WHEEL LOCKS!!! DYNAPACKS *REQUIRE* THAT YOUR WHEELS ARE REMOVED, since it attaches directly to the hubs!
Lastly, ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE IN THE FORM OF CASH AND CASH ONLY. NO ALTERNATE FORM OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. PAYMENT FOR TUNING AND DYNO TIME WILL BE REQUIRED UP FRONT BEFORE ANY TUNING CAN COMMENCE.
Thanks,
~Ramy & Dan

You would really have to talk to someone that is getting tuned that day. Either that, or bring both cars, mabye you will get lucky and there will be enough time at the end. NOT SAYING THERE WILL BE, but if things go smooth you may. If not, get a place to stay for the night that is close, and be first on sunday.
*not speaking for ramy or dan, just throw out ideas, they will answer better*

VaGambler, here's the deal. Greg will need to find someone local who's scheduled to get tuned on Saturday to switch w/. But Greg will still have to pay for the Sunday dyno time surcharge.
Please make sure to post up if you do find someone local to switch with.
Thanks,
~Ramy

Vagambler-i have been wondering, and trying to figure out this in my head. Why do you want 2 tunes? Are you trying to figure out power differences? Why not switch all your stuff before your tune, and then get tuned only 1 time? Is there something specific about your setup you want to test? If you are putting a new manifold/turbo/wastegate on, have you thought about oil/coolant lines(if its watecooler) oil restrictor, downpipe? If its utilizing a new manifold, chances are its going to need a new downpipe, unless its a stock s5 tubular and a BNR?
