The FB is getting a suspension swap, she's in the garage now. I got a whole new rear end with disc breaks, I got springs, shocks, I am rebuilding part of the steering rack, changing all the bearings and then looking to have the paint touched up.
What had happened was that I did go. My mapshitquest directions pointed me to streets that were non-existant. I spent 45 mins lost in the Somerville area, Harvard Square, and finally ended up in downtown Boston. So I got back on 93 and came home. I did the install in my driveway with my annoying neighbor. Besides, I thought Mass highways suck, Mass streets are much worse. I will not be headed down there in the near future again.
That sucks I am sorry oh well it was a good time though got to use google maps next time brought me right there though I drove right by the place at first though lol.
Well how did the install work out in your drive way?

Hey brothers, you guys need to help me out! :P
Im looking for a manual steering rack for an FC. If anyone has a cheapo parts car i can buy, or the actual rack that would be great.
And yes Mike, you did convince me to go manual :P

The install went fairly easy. Its nice working on a car with no rust. The new toe links and trailing arms are on.
i did all new struts was going to do brake pads but decided that i wanted to do all the brakes at once.

Hey guys whats up. Does anyone in NH have a de-powered steering rack, or a stock manual rack on an RX7 here? I want to de-power mine and i would like to see what it feels like first. Thanks a lot
if you really want to do it, find the manual rack, they can be as cheap as 30 bucks at some junk yards, you just have to search for it! good luck.
Whats guys, and gals. Im curious as if to anyone around here knows how to properly clear up the cluttered "rats nest" in an 88 T2? I don't want to attempt this myself. And i certainly don't want anything removed that would be a potential problem, or cause my car to run like ****. If anyone knows anything about this, and is willing to help, let me know! Thankyou

Well, there's a coincidence - I was thinking of posting to here about a get-together
at Widefoot Racing, in Hillsborough, NH. I don't know how many of you know about
my company (I fly under the radar), but Widefoot's known for making the best
replacement swaybar mounts for 3rd gens, as well as "pedal adapters" that make
heel-and-toe shifting easier.
I have a decent size building with an automotive bay area, as well as a pretty
comprehensive machine shop. Future projects include a engine dyno area,
composites manufacturing, and getting the welding stuff operational.
I'm thinking a Saturday (or Sunday) in mid-June, depending on interest and the
best date for most people. I'll post a separate thread for the gathering, but I
figure I might as well get initial feedback from people here. Food/drink provided,
and showing off the CNC equipment too.
Please either respond here, or (if you don't want to clutter this thread), PM me or
email me at "widefoot@comcast.net".
Thanks,

Hi Luke,
Yeah, it's likely you were here, but I can't remember for sure either. Good luck
on getting the car inspected!

I will catch up when my rebuild is done, but in the meantime i can provide comical relief at meets!
