I cant find my other book (lent to a friend maby?)

but maximum boost says Aprox 450 feet per second is the max you want for airflow velocity in a tube in general

they say 600cfm is 293 cfs in a 2.5id pipe

maby 3" is to much

ive seen a few kits greddy included that have 2.75-3" compressor side piping, and post intercooler goes down to 2.5

I made all the piping in my IC setup 2.5

Potentially, if say the IC setup was restrictive

it would make sence that it would take longer, more volume takes more well.. volume to bring up the pressure

Id tend to agree with you

yea. No point in 3 inch unless you have a big *** turbo or really short pipes

I just got a random idea.... What if you could same how integrate a bar and plate design into the piping itself, thus no need for an intercooler :o Im sending some plans to hks
jk but it would be pretty sweet imo

If they bar's were really long, the setup would be very restrictive because of much more surface area for the air to pass along

If the bars were really short.. you would have to have alot of them and the 'pipe' would end up something like 24x12x3... oh wait thats the size of my core

back to the drawing boards with ya!

haha, just leave the a/c in there, and hook it up to run through the intercooler piping? or as a jacket for the piping? haha. that would be sweet, it would make just enough more power to make up for the paricitic loss from the a/c ! somebody try it. haha.

you cant activate your wastegate can you? didnt think so!, and if it's a problem, just plumb it into your exhaust.

everything is illegal in ma. thats why i decided it would be best to go with a bnr, since its an internal wastegate. but i would just got with a t04b if i could run an external legally

bmwrx7 man, i see you are looking for an n/a i'll keep my eyes open for you, my friends neighbor sold a 90' gxl for 1700 last year with 60k original miles, and barely a scratch on the original paint.
i wasnt carefull, when i bought mine and ended up paying way too much for what i was getting.
