what can i say, andy? you caught me red interiored.

but i sure do love my HKS. with the amount of money ive spent on them, i should have stock in the company.

as for the FD, i know 2 VR's in the area. one has a GReddy exhaust and the other a APEXi N1 (i cant remember if it was dual tip or single tip.) both have black interior.

sweet, yeah, this was a dual tip that was similar to an n1, but i didnt think the mufflers were nearly as big.
i agree that hks is good stuff, but i cant afford it so i'm bitter. haha.

thanks for the pictures, still confused but it's ok. i just wanted to see how it was mounted to the frame. no problems though. i got it down off of the jack stands and mounted a 51r battery in the trunk, though it is only temporary. thursday i might have just enough time to add coolant and start it up. i still don't know what and how i am going to do the intercoller pipes, probably similar to your Rick.

i used to go to msc Andy, when it first opened, then it changed owners and got kind of shady in my opinion. i woudl like to get ack into it a little this summer though. what town are you from again?

andy- i guess i pay extra for the quality. however, i do believe that not all of their products should be as expensive as they are (i.e. $6400 TO4Z turbo kit.)

christian- do you have someone who can weld and bend the intercooler pipes for you? dont forget to keep the bends as gradual as possible; less restrictive air flow. if you were thinking of doing a Efini Y-Pipe, i would get that before you get the piping done. otherwise, it could exasperate things.
(edit* upon closer examination, i dont think the y-pipe will make a difference.)

MSC? as in the skatepark? i wanna go as soon as possible. i have been dying to go skating, but the outside situation sucks; so im gonna have to take it indoors.

i'm going to be off my bike for a couple weeks now sadly, i hurt my wrist/hand at msc monday night. not broken, but we'll see how fast it heals, hopefully quick. should be ok outside soon rick. do you ever go to green hill skatepark? ive only been once, id like to go more. fitchburg park is realy fun also, it should be clear by next week.
i might be in for skateboarding a little also, i'm pretty bad though, but i try occasionaly.

christian, that is the exhaust on that red fd. but it didnt seem like it had ever been chrome, must just have been the heat that turned it brownish. realy nice looking car, i wouldnt have it on the roads this early.

what time are you working on your car thursday? i am out of class at 11:30, and have class in leominster at 4:30, so i'll have time then , and right after class around 7:30 if you are around then i could come check it out.

i might be there around 3ish. somthing did come up so i might not be at all. i'll give you a call. what Bike do you have? i actually gave my bike to a good froend of mine because she wanted cheap transportation lol. but i could get it back. there is a cement park in northboro that i want to check out, it looks clean. my apexi exhaust is a little gold colored on the tip due to heat, so no surprise there.

as far as the pipes go, i don't know what i am going to do, porbably take it to ESP in sterling and see if they can do anythng for me. i could prbably weld it myself, but it isn't recomended that you weld SS with plain old steel rods. i can't weld aluminum because billy (who onws the welder) doesn't have gas. i have my research cut out for me.

Hey fellas! I was informed about a meet in Worcester this coming sunday the 25th and I wanted to extend the invite, and hopefully see some rotaries there, maybe some familiar faces! Unfortunately my FC's been dead since November but I'll be there in my MR2 turbo. Anyhow, here's the details:
2nd Annual New England Car Enthusiast Meet - Ma,Ny,Ct,Ri,Nh,Me,Ve

Last year was great! This year I chose a bigger and better parking lot, where we can all fit! Last years meet had an EXCELLENT turnout, hopefully will be the same this year if not better because of the extra parking space.

RAIN OR SHINE, hopefully no snow, but if it does snow, meet is off. Everyone be sure to see what the weather is like in Worcester Massachusetts, thats what we're going by.

I got this off Nissanclub.com
ALL CARS WELCOME, THE MORE THE BETTER, feel free to bring food, drinks, anything, no alcoholic beverages.

What: Car Enthusiast Meet, all cars welcome
When: Sunday, March 25th, 2007, 2pm - whenever
Where: Advanced Auto Parts II, on Grafton Street (NOT AutoZone both are very close to each other) in Worcester Massachusetts.

Not much, i trimmed the front bumper and figured out that i need to cut those 90 degree bends off the intercooler and flip it right side up.

i have the fisrt (and only?) jim cielenski signiture frame that out like 5 ears ago. euro bb, very light.

yea, that was an awesome frame, still a pretty decent bike. hopefully my wrist/hand heals quick so we can ride. ever ride any trails?

so you are going to mount the intercooler so it angles 90 degrees back right out of the end tanks? that seems pretty good. should work slight better, shower piping with less bending in it. that is always good.

in winchendon we have realy nice trails, they may be slightly bigger than you are used to, but they are pretty easy to ride and there is one smaller section that is good to learn on.

it is ******* frustrating. i wasn't able to finish it because i still have to trom the bumper some more. but that is about it. the cooling system was low when i turned the key, so that is a good sign that it slowly percolates and fills up the system. it is nice to here it run though, and nice to smell that rotary.
i don't know if anyone has seen this but i found it hysterical. http://cabaynes.com/files/scoot%20sp...rotor%202.mpeg

Nice! is it gonna be down for a meet some time in the near future? how far form worcester are you?

Christian

i got all the air out of the system, the trick was filling the radiator from the bottom and pushing the air out the top via the ast. i let the car warm all the way up and it acctually runs cooler than before, without the fans!
