What do you want for an FC? how much of a project do you want?

 

Christian- good luck on getting that new rotary. i was thinking of doing an online photo collage post dedicated to your FD, but ill let the wounds heal a little bit first. she will be missed (insert taps......)

Shaun/ David- check 'em out. let me know how it goes. David's getting his race license with COM this weekend, correct? let me know how that goes. good luck and keep the rubber side down. autocrossing won't be the same after.

 

Jacob, I am looking for any year turbo, stock or slightly modified. I am planning on going to look at swiftones 10ae tomorrow at some point. do you have any cars that you think i might be interested in?

well for anyone that doent know im not dead just ocupied by trying to get the turbo engine to run. Its in the car and bolted down now its just the fun part wiring. I cant see to figure out why i'm not getting spark. I hope to bring it to summer national i am alredy regestered.

 

Christian- i take pictures like i get paid to do it; therefore, i have a lot of them. i have more pictures of your car, but i didnt wanna seem crazier then i already seem, so i put a quota on the pictures posted. but on a secret side note, you found me out; i was stalking your FD. now i need new pray.... get on that ASAP.

mike- how's the z coming along? i cant wait to check it out once its all done. my stepfather had a turbo z; it was a fun, fast little car. i can imagine yours is gonna be just as much fun. are you planning on racing it at all this season? let me know what events.

does anyone ever go to the Hebert Candy Mansion Cruise Nights every Thursday throughout the summer? im going tonight, and im probably gonna make it a weekly event.

The Z is good i just got it running yesterday. the problem was wires for the coil were in a different place on a plug between harnesses. THe problem is its only running on 4 cylinders but it seems to be getting better the more i drive it though. It sounds nasty because right now im running straight pipes but I do plan on getting exahust today

 

Explanation for what Mike said.......
It sounds like a v8 running on headers and the exhaust is simply a 6 inch downpipe after the turbo.

I'm getting my new car tomorrow! I'll post something about it when it gets home.

 

that didnt take long? FD sold tuesday, replacement by following monday; you work fast.

Christian, I was almost baffled how you could sell an FD to build up an FC but then I realized I'm the type of guy who would sell his even-rarer MR2 turbo to build up an FC. Carry on, sir!

You're getting rid of the Mr. 2 Corey? Have you done anything new to the 7?

Also christian I got all 6 cylinders firing, 500mi, and a slipping clutch on my new engine how is yours doing?

 

Hehe, I love those wheels. So far I've got the interior gutted and painted halfway. When I get hold of a welder I'm going to remove the sunroof guts, weld the roof shut, and finish painting the interior. I just got a MOMO bucket seat, so I'll bolt that down with a custom seat bracket I picked up a while ago. I've also got a Cusco 6pt roll cage and triangular rear strut brace going in. Then it'll be on to body mods, paint, and finally, the engine

 

im up for a meet anytime soon. lets get a time and place.

 

We could have one down my way, maybe in a couple weeks or so? Is anyone going to Cone-a-palooza at Devens this coming Sunday?
