I was attending the SCCA Solo events up until the beginning of June, where I was told I can't race again until I can fix a suspension clunk. I (think) I've finally found the problem: bad control arm bushings. I have someone coming over tomorrow to confirm it. If that's the case, good-by ratty 22-year-old rubber bushings, hello Energy Suspension! Whatever the cause, I won't be attending this weekend's event but I hope to make it to the next one.

ZumspdRX-7: I won't be attending the Run this Saturday, either. Sorry, dude, but I'm going to have to keep nursing my car until the clunking is fixed; I don't want it to get any worse.

Good luck. Every time someone comes up with a meeting date, it's always one where most of us can't make it! Take me, for example: I work 2nd shift M-F so I can't make it to any meets during the week.

i love old capris my father had a 73 the "sexy europian" (sp) has a 5.0 mustang rear end shortend on each side to tuck under the fenders and of coarse had a 302 stroker (my buddys got an engine jsut like it... i want it for a project) but the thing was absolutly sick... so if u know anyone wit hone let me know ill ****** it up in a heart beat.

 

I didn't even Know u could get the euro Capri on the stars the look like rx3 .I got a 84 rs turbo with a fully built 2.3

today I found out my drivers side rear wheel is cracked when i got new tires. Right when I think my car has run out of problems

i blame the town of Clinton for that wheel

 

Well clinton does suck. You should just sell your rx-7 and get something cool like a subie.

That sucks about your wheel though what are you going to get for a replacement? You could do it the cheep way and only buy two wheels and put differnt wheels on diffrent sides of the car.
