hey guys and girls any one knwo any thing about subs. i want to add one to my rx8 i have the bose sound system. i have a jL audi 10 inch sub. i dont know what size box i need or what size amp ect. does any one know how much it would cost to get installed if i come to them with the box/sub and amp?

 

Your box size depends mostly on the model of speaker you have and the type of box (sealed, passive, ported . . . I prefer sealed). Sometime the manufacturer will recommend a size. I did a quick search an found out the mfg recommends a 1.25 cu ft box.

As for the amp, similar situation, the mfg recommends 500 - 750 W amp.

If you pick one up, a box and a sub woofer install kit, I could help you out some weekend . . .

i know someonw with an 88gtu roller thats got no drivetrain and the clearcoat's pealing, its a southern car though, ABSOLUTLY NO RUST, its in great shape
