nice i really can't wait to see the look, even though i know exactly what it's gonna look like (seems like every 7 (fd and fc) is rockin the fn01rc's these days). probably the nicest looking wheels ever for a 7, other than mine of course =P

They are one of the cheapest, lightest, best looking wheels that come in a variety of sizes and colors! IIRC a primer black one had the same wheels at the Cape Cod meet. I have wanted bronze ones since June of 07 even before I bought the car. I've never seen them on a glossy black car like mine so I can't wait either. What wheels did you get?

I hate crome meshies, My turbo II wheels never stayed clean. That's why I looked for a dark colored 5 spoke design.

thanks Ian, if i could find a set of good condition center caps for them i would definitely be going with that, but being a discontinued model they are hard to come by. the pictures really don't do justice though. they look much better in the pics lol. the long and short of the story is i bought them paid in full in september (!) of last year and didn't get all 4 of them until almost 3 months later. the guy sent me the rears first about a month after payment but then i had to literally post a reward for someone to go to the guys house and pick up and ship the fronts for me. when i got the fronts they were not nearly in the condition pictured. i think the guy might have been waiting to get them fixed or something. either way i have them now. the lips just need to be sanded down and re polished big time. and i'm painting the spokes gold. they're really straight and all, just need some TLC.

i love mesh wheels, can't wait to see some pics! how is the turbo coming along?

17x8.5 +35
17x9.5 +35

my car is still on the stock suspension so I won't run into any rubbing issues. the tires that were on it were 245 in the rear and 215 up front. i think I'm going to go with 235's in the rear though just to give me a little more leeway when the car is dropped down a little.

i hate all of you guys that have a bolt pattern that you can find wheels for. god dam 4x110 bolt pattern. yeah could go out and get the respeed big break kit for the front, and get a rear out of a 85 but thats way to much work for rims.

what do you guys think of these.

450$ shipped.

Ben, those Rewinds are really nice. If I hadn't found a set of mesh wheels I was going to get those or try and track down a set of Panasports. There really are only about 5 styles of wheels available in the 4x110 pattern that are still in production..

Christian the gold centers are really going to look good with your white paint! You going to be doing that yourself? Progress is slow but steady on my car. Not in a big rush right now, it's still winter and I still need some parts (intake mani, fuel line, gaskets and other small items), but the battery is relocated. I took the carb off, and earlier today I was working at getting the stock exhaust off, which is a PITA because a few of the bolts are rusted on there pretty good. So I'm thinkin I'm just gonna take a Sawzall to it and show that exhaust who's boss

actually, they are based off of Mg Mini lite rims. they were a factory sport wheel that came as an extra for early 70's MG's. My dad is getting a set for his 72' MGB gt that he's restoring. They actualy sell them in MOSS motors for pretty cheap for the replica rims. they may be a the right size actualy, may want to check them out, might even be cheaper. www.mossmotors.com

yeah, and wheels being what make it so cars can move, seems like a decent thing to talk about.
