why you need fiberglass work?

nah, i know there's an IHOP thread. i just choose to mention it because i know how it bugs jason. =).

i need fiberglass work because i have a broken FEED lip that i need fixed. i also have a copy of said FEED lip that i also need to fix. and i need custom work to figure out why it was only designed for the S5 bumper and not the S4 AND if it's possible to modify the design so a S4 design can be made. thus is why i'm asking for the place. and to complicate my life even more, i'm need custom work done so i can make a mold of said original FEED lip so i can make copies and sell them on the i-ner-web and make a gahzillion dollars.

so if anyone knows of someone or someplace that can do the above .. and you own a FC, you'll get a FEED lip copy for your time.

 

Uh, thats exactly the lip I want for my S5 I currently have no lip :'(

Anyway. if it is made of fiberglass, Martin can do it.

well 411 cost money... and uh.. CAL.. if you can get the s5 or the turbo front bumper put on a s4.. let me know.. i want FOG LIGHTS!!!! that look like they are ment to be there..

the only issue i think i'll have is wiring the foglights. at the ends, they have the standard issue plastic connector .. so if i don't have them, i'll have to cut them off, tap into something to get juice, probably put a breaker/fuse would be a good idea also and wire up a switch to the inside.

hopefully some autoparts store has replacement bulbs. i've seen stock foglights and they're not all that bright.

i like foglights but i also like the "air channel to the brakes" design also..

get some slimline aftermarket foglights like my supra had/has (i trashed them in my accident but still on the car. nice and bright and they leave plenty of room to still use hole as air intake.

 

in OTHER news.....my supra is down indefinitely until i can get enough money to get it fixed at a mechanics shop.

i replaced the bearing with the oversized...but it still knocks. I'm leaning towards cleaning up and fixing the GTE engine and just swapping it in. running it NA i'll only be pushing 160-170 HP instead of the GE's 185HP. but thats liveable till i get the turbo setup on it.

Mike/Jesse: i need to find a turbo shop that can inspect my turbo. i THINK the front oil seal blew. i'm looking for as cheap as possible....dont care if it takes a few weeks. and OBVIOUSLY...i'll need to come up to jesses house and extract more parts from the red supra.

i'm gonna go ghetto and use PVC pipe for im intercooler pipes. (it DOES work and theyre stronger than stock pipes.)

 

You're absolutely right...you always did type better than you played. But for this reason, its not my fault you picked up so many L's...

 

hey guys i'm thinking about getting and fd in the gaithursburg or ellicott city area. are there any good shops to get the car checked out (compression test etc)? Or should i just go to a dealer?

 

NEVER go to the dealer. If you bring the car by me, I'll compression test it for you.

 

suds do you still have that solenoid? whit needs it for his starter. call me.

lol, yeah, I might take my car up to your shop too sgof, my turbo is leaking oil and I can't tell from where. but I can't really drive it cause it's leaking onto the exhaust manifold, so I have to ask someone that has a trailer to move it first.

you know a better cheaper place? think the oil seal on the intake side is shot cuz there was oil from the turbo all the way into the intercooler which i actually had to DRAIN when i took it off.

 

Needs to be rebuilt, get BNR to do it. They do good work from what I can tell in the good guy badguy forum.
