hes had it on the road a week but hes got some slightly minor things to fix before it'll pass inspection

 

It is road worthy. I just need to do four things to pass inspection on it:

1) Replace rear shocks (Already have the replacement AAS shocks for it)
2) Adjust the E-Brake
3) Connect the tranny reverse lights wire
4) I forgot #4, but it is braindead easy.

I need to connect my reverse lights too, I have a broken connector or something that I need to replace.

Hope the GXl Passes inspection.. So uh.. what are ya goin to do with it once you pass inspection?

 

A couple guys I know at precision tune said that there's a GT40 (yes the new one) sitting on the showroom floor at Koons Ford. Whichever one is closest to route40 - i'll double check the dealership location for all that are interested. Of course there's a sign on it that says "Not fo sale".

Shouldn't be hard. My reverse lights even work, and the only thing stock about the whole circuit are the lights themselves... wait a minute - they're not the stock lights either


On a side note, if someone opens a shop for RX7's I can assist with V8 swaps

I saw some good advice about it in there - one thing I will add is even though you want to advertise by word of mouth with family and friends (the best advertising is always free) make sure you don't start 'helping' them out by offering free work.

It always starts out with the best of intentions, like a free quickie brake job, oil changes, stuff like that - next thing you know their A/C won't blow cold because the compressor is seized, the heat isn't blowing hot because their radiator has a hole but they want you to 'just get it to stop leaking' or some other crap that will have you beating yourself with a torque wrench for being a nice guy to being with.

If you're going to charge customers, charge everyone. Freebies are for Monster Garage - business is business. Maybe you can offer a discount to relatives or friends, but trust me - if you work on something for free, you will regret it.

How are the fenders on that car, and the front bumper cover, and would you possibly be willing to trade(One of those fenders and the front bumper cover for blue ones) or sell them. My car is white, and right now, most of the front end is blue.

Also, It's just a possiblity, I have to see whats going on.
