1) Sean: that pic has the front bumper air inlet i was telling you about.
2) whoever asked me about putting clear lensed lights where the flipup lights are on a supra....it doesnt really work cuz of the angle. would be for show only..non-practical

O.k so... Everything's fine till I get on the beltway, First my check engine light comes on, then the coolant light comes on. then the oil light comes on. And to top it all of the car starts bucking like tofuball's car when he's low on fuel. Except mine bucks whenever I try to run boost. . I'm full on coolant, I added oil and I still can't figure out why she's buckin.)I'm wondering if the bucking is from not having a certain ground cable connected to the car??? or maybe its because there's no gasket between where the exhaust flang and cat flang meet???. If anyone has had a simalar problem or has any suggestions please tell me.

Triple post!

Pull the engine codes, check the oil (Like I told you a billion times) and top off the coolant once it cools down! (Specially in the coolant runoff jug)

did you get the wonderful "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" low coolant buzzer? i love that sound. mazda should make alarm clocks with that sound. that would annoy me just enough to get up... not like this wimpy alarm clock i have now.

you were doing fine on the way to the beltway. =P.

Rousuke: a missing exhaust flange wont cause bucking. just alot of extra noise. along with what tofuball suggested (pull codes, check oil) its possible there could be fuel delivery or ignition/electrical issues. Does the bucking happen within a certain RPM range or change in throttle?

Bucking is usually a BIG sign that says TPS!!! TPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But check the engine codes and the oil level FIRST

The missing exhaust gasket will cause NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER with the engine

All it will do is cause a little exhaust to leak out between the flanges . . . and maybe carbon monoxide poisoning. But besides that!

You need to bolt down that ground, not because it will help anything, but because it will help with reducing interference to your radio.

Tscha Yeah!!! I as doing fine on the beltway. But when I was honking as you passed me the last time thats when that stupid buzzer stared going off. Then I could'nt hold my RPM.
My speed started to drop until I'm doin 45 in the middle lane being passed at 80 by what seemed like evacuation style traffic. It does'nt matter what Rpm it is, I can go up to 8 as long as I don't try to run boost.

I'll pull the codes. And I hate that low coolant buzzer more than aything.

What's TPS???

oh ok, it only happens in boost. in that case I say the problem is either in the fuel system, or possibley somewhere in the turbo system. Cracked induction piping would cause low boost not bucking so if anything I'd suspect a wastegate. As stated by the others, the TPS is also a likely culprit. I do suggest getting the codes as soon as possible since that would help in eliminating some guess work such as if the cause revealed a faulty O2 sensor which could also play a part although a minor one. The coolant buzzer issue is a little confusing though. I assume you've checked the coolant after this happened and it was still topped off. If not then the problem is likely to be more serious. Shoot out as much info as possible so we can figure this thing out tho.

most of us have seen the problems with his car first hand and most likely will be helping him fix it at the garage anyway :-p

but very true..whatever problems can be fixed in theory in the forums cuts down on troubleshooting later.

gah ****... my car is giving low coolant buzzer too~
and i KNOW the coolant is topped off... I filled the rear l'il catch can full and "pumped" the hoses when it was running to try and change the flow enough to get any bubbles out ... ... still low coolant buzzer.
the only thing i think it could be is that i shorted something when i was tightening the alternator belt... (i did see sparks and was lucky i was wearing my mechanix gloves)

meh, i'll be adding more coolant tomorrow morning

Hey guys, there is a jumper you can create to plug into two pin receptors on teh diagnostic receptor. I will find out what it is tomarow and you can watch your check engine light to get those codes if you dont already know.
