lol, Jason said that because it's been a minute and a half since you said you wanted it, much less never since you've come and look at it.... If you still want it, just keep in touch with him more and put down a deposit or something...

Even I would start questioning a transaction if it's been weeks since last heard from about it

Edit: Looks like I didn't need to say anything at all...

I also have a gold car, but it wont have headlights, a hood, or a passenger side fender.

Maybe Munch would sell his car if the price was right (He has a blown engine) so ask him too.

I've got a very large, hyperactive, African man to help with the Transmission, and a cynical, semi-psychotic, latina chick for moral support (yeah right) and possibly photography... We are free Monday afternoon...

I should just probably call you, but meh.

I also ended up getting to tow dolly today. Bit late I guess, but it's here if you need it.

When do you want this Dell Latitude, and how big was the screen in your old one, 12 or so inch? Ken or I... or you can compile junk from this one and the old one into something resembling a functional laptop... I think.

hrmm, I thought she had a bit of an accent... Turns out the towing company was trying REALLY hard to keep jason's car in the impound too... so u can tell her they were bastards after all

Actually, I might need to borrow the dolly at some point or another if that's OK with you... once I pull the engine and all the interior and tranny out of the hachi, I'm gonna need to tow it to the body shop to have the dents and rust removed, and have the whole car repainted... inside and out.

That should be interesting...

Sure. Whatcha got to tow it with? It'll need a 2 inch ball.

I'm actually pretty glad I got this particular dolly. It's not like the U-Haul ones that tilt back to load the car on. It's got detatchable ramps, so you can substitute your own ramps if the car has a low hanging air dam or something. Plus the ramps won't smack the under carriage when in transit.

This thing is SOLID... It't old as hell too, but in great shape, aside from the dry rotten tires.

That should be interesting... (RE Laptop)
Well, if his boots up on external monitor and gets to BIOS, that should be all that's needed. Mine had a perfect screen, just wouldn't power up one day after having left it on all night... I suspect the fan died in it and the processor toasted itself.

I stripped the RAM and hard drive for another machine and resold the AC adapter and batteries, but those items should be easy to come by.

I have nothing yet... my father has a fairly large truck (ford f150 I think.. maybe f250, either way it's pretty big) with a trailer hitch socket... we don't have an actual ball yet... I can get that if needed.
