turbo is for people who have primered cars just sitting there in their driveways waiting for some mythical "correct fuel injectors" to suddenly show up on their doorsteps.

If you can't afford the turbo you definitely can't afford to make your N/A faster than a boosted car. Your pretty funny.

 

alot of making an NA faster is just like home depot mods then porting... and maybe a ECU.

First off he said, "faster than a turbo" and secondly what mod can be purchased at home depot that is going to gain him any horsepower? Porting wont do **** unless you actually use that extra space with more air and fuel. In which case you will defintely need a stand alone and a larger fuel supply. Just about any stand alone is over $1,000. I payed $785 for my fuel system. I am still failing to see how he is planning on making his NA faster than a turbo and still not spend a small fortune doing so. :p

 

you need to do both of those to upgrade a turbo too.... it's not anything new. and on a NA the fuel system doesn't need to be that spectacular, stock injectors are probably fine for most applications.... and a safc would be fine on an NA too...

home depot mods = TB mod and other removing of usless parts...

turbos cost 10 times more to upgrade...

I guess you dont have much experience modifying N/As then

Megasquirt ECU is $120
N/A Fuel system is good to about 220HP
Porting makes huge differences on Rotaries, even without other mods.

My N/A 'vert in its formitive stages was faster then a stock turbo, and it was almost all Home Depot mods and tweaks.

As for the super heros, the shy guy is just plain cooler, simple and mysterious.

N/A stands for "nothing AT ALL....unless you know your ****" FYI the "u-y-k-y-s" are silent...even when spelled.

And home depot is great for mods. I'm making my body fit from them...
and we i think about it. I've gotten alot of vaccum hose from them and plastic to make better and lighter parts.

and porting....oh yeah...*smile*

and last but not least, Jason one of there days I'm not going to be doing anything and I'll actually be able to meet you! Wouldnt that be something. Maybe I'll bring my GF's kid and raise her rotary style!

haha, last time I checked NAs didn't have boost controllers ... but they might have come up with something new

 

I don't know about costing 10 times more to upgrade. More like 3 times However, you get more HP out of it when the day is done.
