Join the Vintage Mazda Rotary Club
Hello I would like to introduce myself. My name is Papo and I've been into rotaries since 1991.
I was voted as the spokesperson for Vintage Mazda Rotary Club of Connecticut.
Vintage Mazda Rotary Club is an effort by a group of people to deal away with a political hierarchy that you see in many clubs. As a result, our club does NOT have a PRESIDENT or any one member is higher than the next. Every member in the club is equal and any decision making is discussed at our meetings. That said, we are looking for any Vintage Mazda Rotary heads who wants to join our club. So anyone in the Tri-State area is welcomed.
Your car has to be a 1985 or older Mazda Rotary to join the club, but we will not exclude other rotaries from coming to our meets. We realize that this is an opportunity for everyone to see a large gathering of older rotaries and we would not want to deny anyone the opportunity. In fact, anyone who is interested in the history of Mazda Rotaries should come and see these cars.
We will be posting more information on meets and locations soon. Our website will also be up and running soon. If you are interested reply or pm me your contact information and I will get in contact with you. We are NOT affiliated with any other tri state car club.
I appreciate your time in reading this post and we look foward to hearing from all the Vintage Mazda Rotary heads soon.
Best Regards,
Papo

I have met Chiqui befpre, and bought a trans from him. I also met a guy nearby him on my way home that has a REPU like mine. I don't have tons of time to put towards events, but I would love to get together with like-minded rotary people. Chiqui's place was like mecca to me when I saw all his old school stuff. I have a couple of older Mazda's,but I really want an RX-3/4 wagon, and I would probably even trade my REPU for the right one.
I will forward my contact info to Chiqui, and thanks guys.

I'd like to thank everyone who attended the meeting yesturday. I know some of us couldn't make it and we understand. These meetings are not mandatory, but if you want to voice your opinion than you should attend. Its great when everyone provides feedback. Once the website is up that will change. People will be able to voice their opinion on the forums.
Our first official meet will be April 27, 2008 - 12 noon Seaside Park (we may have a warm up meet in March, for those who catch the early spring fever)
Check out our official 2008 meet thread - --> here<---
Special thanks to...
Lance for co-ordinating with the printers...the logo is going to look nice on our cars
Papo for creating membership applications
Chiqui for providing the place for our meetings
Louis for bringing the drinks
and to Carlos, Pito, JR, Joey who gave great feedback.
We will have our next meeting soon!
Thanks for taking the time in reading our post,
Ken
