CT 2008 Connecticut Meets

This will be our Official Connecticut Meet Thread. As you know winter is almost over (knock on wood) and soon it will be spring. Our first meet will commence in the SPRING (date is still yet to be determined). I'm already driving my REPU and patrolling the streets (it still needs some work) . If you see me don't hesistate to stop me (as long as you don't cause an accident).

I'd also would like to thank all the members who have been hard at work in making this club a reality. Its the members that make a club and I really appreciate your time and effort.

All I ask is to, STOP harrassing me about the website its coming!!!

If anyone would like to contribute to this thread post up...

Ken, looks good. Let me know if you guys want to get together as I'm looking to fill a date in August. I think it would be great to get together the crews for one big meet. Doing a great job for the rotary community!

By old school, I'm guessing you're not referring to FC's/FD's?

And you spelled "Connecticut" wrong in your flyer

Sorry forgot about your question...

Even though this club is for Old School. It doesnt mean that our meets exclude FC's and FD's. You are more than welcome to attend with your car/cars, we will not discriminate.
This club is for everyone who has an old school car to come together and share their knowledge and experiance. The VMRC meets are for anyone who wants to attend and see these cars. People will have their reason to attend, maybe they are considering in buying an old school, maybe they never seen an old school before, maybe they like to meet new people, hang out etc... There are various reason for someone to attend and we will not stop anyone from attending.

Hopefully that clears up any confusion.

Thanks Papo...

Dont forget guys we have a meeting today at chiqui's 5pm(hopefully the weather holds up). People have been comming up with great ideas. I liked when everyone interacted in the last meeting, this meeting is going to be a full house. Lets keep it up, the more ideas the better it will be for all of us.

Thanks again,
Ken

Thanks John,

I talked with some members and they dont see anything wrong with you hanging out, unless you have an ulterior motive, lets hope not.

Hey guys,

I don't want to hijack here, but I have a question. I met a guy named Hector who has almost the identical truck to mine, and he lives in CT. I have not seen him active on the mazdarepu.com site, and I was wondering how he is making out with his truck. It seems I lost his email address, and I don't remember what town he lives in other than he was a bit north-east of Chiqui, and I went by his place after picking up my transmission I bought from Chiqui. Again I am sorry for the hijack, but I figured you guys may know of him. I believe he was/is on this site as well, but I don't remember his username(it is mazdaorbust I think on mazdarepu.com).

Thanks,
