Im mad i had to work and couldnt come and watch. Hopefully ill have off next week and ill be able to go. How did you do?
Not great but getting better
I ended up in the final 4 in the A main group and lost by a bumper . I think I could have won the B main , but in the 1st race , the other driver had the same idea I did . as we came into turn 3 I was about 6-8 cars ahead so I slowed down and slammed on the brakes to shoot this other guy by , but he did the same and we creeped across the finish line at about 20 miles an hour with me winning . You usually get to run 1 maybe 2 races more in the B maiin unless you keep winning in the A main . Im getting better at driving it hard into the corners and figuring what gears to use in each corner . Oh well I had a blast and thanks to all my buddies who make it out each week . I still havent seen any other members out this year , what gives all this talking crap last year and you wont even come sit in the stands this year ??????????? Come on guys take off your skirts , hahahahaah

Sorry, I had to play family man. My wife's pregant and it's the time in her pregnancy where she's tired and cranky all the time. I'll be in Texas next week, so may I can come the week after next. At least you had a good time even if we weren't able to be there.
Hey everyone, I'd like to promote this a little. I have only recently found out about everything going on at the MDA event weekend at Summit Point. Here is a link to my discussion on our meetup site.

I bought a 94 FD, 125k on the chassis, <9k on a rebuilt streetported engine. Classic Red, tan interior. New radiator and hoses, new exhaust(no cats), manual tranny, cassette with cd changer, Veilside skirts, at a price you won't believe!
I went by brady's shop today , I was asking when they were doing a teaching class , and he mentioned this race . i'd love to make it , but my wife is pregnant . I dont think she is in the mod to travile . We have been gone most of the summer and we both need a break . I rememberted you coming out to langley , but I thought that was last year ,. and the go cart track was the most recient . Hell, I let you drive my car one week just to get the point across " we rule "rOTARY POWER "
This is new to me but I love you guys that have kept the power going forward
I cant imagine the car you could bring to the event

Congrats on the baby VA! I didn't even know you were married, lol. Our baby is due in January, when is your wife due? BTW, I just sold the TII hood.
The car sounds sweet!!!! Can't wait to see it.
Kenny, I am going to be sorta busy this week getting ready to got to Summit Point. I have to give the car a once over and probably change brake pads and a few small things like that. I have it in my mind that I have going to change transmission and rear end as well, but, there is only so much time. I might make it Wednesday if I get everything done. If not I will try the following week. I am just busier than I have ever been with my slacker government job these days.... (what is wrong with this picture).
Anyone else that can go, Summit Point will be a fun weekend, even if you just go up to watch.

I'd love to go, but I have to drive to Baltimore to pick up a bunk bed my wife bough online. How did I get suckered into that???
BTW, the guy that bought my hood is coming up on the 10th to pick it up, so I invited him to our meetup. Sounds like he's going to attend.

It will be a great weekend. I can't wait, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it.
