We have a location for the next meet:
Monthly meetup. We are back to the old Hooters. Everyone seems to think this one works out OK. I will let them know we are comming. It has a nice parking area out back where we can all park together. It will be a little busier than usual becuse it is football season.

I'll try to make that one, but if I'm working, well...of course I'll be late, or too tired to make it. I know for sure the 7 will be still in the middle of down-time though, as it will be getting it's new heart and brain implant.
BTW, I've talked to some people, and 300 RWHP is my goal with stock everything.
Anyone know how to eliminate the S5 electric OMP without FUBARing the ECM?

I don't think you really need to do much to remove the OMP. Just be sure to always premix when you gas up. Do a quick search in the FC forums. There's tons of info about removing the OMP. You might just need to disconnect it and block off the lines. And I don't remember anyone having issues with the ECU afterwards.
I will find the link, but there is a company that sells a device that fits between the OMP and the engine, that draws oil from a little oil tank (about the size and shape of a windshield washer bottle). I think the price was about $75 and to me seemed like the ideal compromise for a street car. You have a little tank under the hood you keep filled. Simple and clean. I have the link somewhere, I will try to find it.
Here is a link to the oil metering pump adaptors I was talking about:

I knew about the adapter, but the problem with S5's is that if the OMP is disconnected, then the ECU puts the car in limp home mode. Also, I can't use the front cover where it mounts, since I'll be using a GSL-SE cover and oil pan.

Are you the one that bought yuichiror's engine? Then if so, I have that harness that he told me and a coil for you.

I believe Pete has electric OMP tied in the engine bay just to keep the ECU from going into the limp mode and he premixes.....

Hey Va,
I am alive and well, a lot has happened to me lately. I have retired from the military, working for the goverment, became a young *** grandfather, and still tinkering with the yellow 79 and 73 RX-3 wagon. At least the wagon is to the point that I can drive it around daily, still a running restoration in progress.

Hey Calvin, Yuichi and all the rest of the peanut gallery!!!!!
Calvin - As far as the RX-3 parts, I have a limited supply, most of the stuff I have is throught Ebay and some other friends I have that needed a little persuasion to let them go. But, I can point and help him get started at the right direction.
Yuichi - Will be swinging by
And good luck to the Wacky Wednesday guys.....
