Any of you guys interested in getting a group dyno and tune run over at All Aspects...i talked to a guy sat at jenro's and he mentioned it to me. I think it's a great idea.

hey would a leak before the turbo cause my turbo to spool slower than it should. and would that decrease my HP as well?

Joe-c: what ecu and what kind of setup have you got?

Dragonsbreath: I wouldn't worry so much about intake/exhaust manifold leaks. Anything significant enough to affect top end horsepower would manifest itself in other very noticeable ways like a high idle or noise from the exhaust manifold. Now I know you've been hanging around those 2nd gen guys too much Our cars don't measure volume of air...we measure load

Blow off valve leaks seem to be a source of constant paranoia for many turbo owners. If your hearing a fluttering sound, the valve is too tight not too loose. A little might be ok. Too much and you're stressing the compressor.
Also, keep in mind that the turbo will build boost until the set manifold pressure is reached. If there are some leaks along the way the turbo will output that much air to compensate. 15psi=15psi It's that simple.

so I see you're from no cal, I gotta a lot of friends here from the bay, as far as tuning goes you can just wait till you get your new setup. you would have to re tune if you change your setup and you would have to change out your current injector setup if you're going to a full drag application, tuning is not cheap so I would definitely just wait until you get your new setup since you're still on your break in period

yea im tryin to save up for the cj motorsports fuel rails. i have a gz lim but im savin up for the 4 injector setup i wanna run 4 1600cc sec and 550 pri. i still need to order fuel lines so i can run my aeromotive pump and i still need to buy my fjo fuel injector driver. yea i should wait to til i get my new setup but i barely started driving my car after a year of being broke. i bought the car originally from fritz flynn with 5k track miles on the motor. then after 1k of driving beaten a hand full of times the motor went and now here i am about to deploy dam it lol.

only use All Aspects as a last resort...theres only one guy that comes around to tune RX-7's...but you will need a wideband to make it easier...and he already has datalogit for your pfc
