ok so i was just checking the ignition wires and coils on my car and noticed that there was a wire not connected coming from my leading coil...so my first response was like holy hell wtf man...so i connected it, which has prolly been my problem all along, and now the idle is jumping all over the place like a spider monkey. however it does seem to sound better and run smoother, but i haven't actually romped on it yet. only given it about 50% throttle. will change the plugs tonight if they are fouled or bad and hopefully all will be well

what type of bov you have? i think you have the same as mine.if it is a greedy type rs, is shouldnt "flutter" unless you have is set @ low psi .or you might want to see if the spring is broke.

if you think it is doing this you should take it off the car and bench test it.do you know what the spring is set to ?

its a turbo xs rfl...seen tons of complaints on it leaking throughout searches. i did hook up a air pump to it and when it reaches like 7 psi i can hear it leaking. not sure on the spring, but from what i hear they only come with one and washers as spacers. i still get the whoosh sound, but my boost builds really slow as well

maybe my manifold is losing pressure at boost and causing my bov to open slightly

huh? if your manifold is leaking it will not cause your bov to leak, how do you know your manifold is leaking?

it could in a way that it's not putting enough pressure back through the bov to keep it closed
