oh and anytone who wants my S4, $300 or best off for you local folk, and if you need help i will make an attempt to help tow it home for you. the most towing ive done though is with my S5 and that was only 4 blocks using a tow rope and having my dad steer and brake the car.

Rich, I forgot to post the link to the race wheel place that makes the inexpensive FB wheels.

http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/

Here is the page with the 4x110 rims.

http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/RoadRaceSeries.htm

13x7 lightweights for $59 each.... can't complain too much..

NO, that turbo is way too small. Your not going to find a turbo that will bolt on to the stock manifolds. It'll have to be a hybrid or, you'll need to go full single turbo build with manifolds, custom down pipe, new oil/water lines etc.

And those rebuild kits that were recommended earlier are NOT the correct ones. You need a T3/T4 rebuild kit, NOT a T25.

I'll see all you guys at the track tonight. HOPEFULLY I wont be there too late, I have to be somewere else for a while. Is everyone going to be in the pits tonight, or some in the stands (assumming ken and Rich get their rides on the track tonight )?

Hry monty , wouldn't be quicker for you to email/ call the vendor and ask them it it will fit your application ???? It would really stink if someone gave you their opinion and they were wrong . You would probably get a faster reply also

Good luck either way

it's a gxl and its a parts car. no clutch pedal assembly, blown engine, someone bought the seats, window switches, and window regulator. i do have an auto brake pedal i could throw in there, i wouldnt recommend driving the car because it has rust on the floor pan pretty bad, although is has been patched, its still there. if i could i would run it at langly because it has good suspension, good brakes, and a fairly strong lsd and tranny. i might even let it go for $250 if its to one of you guys ive been talking to alot or have met. just let me know if you want any other info on it monty, and good luck with your turbo rebuild.

8725 orcutt ave, 23666 hampton, va. im right down the street from sears. up hear.

Hey Calvin, I'm trying to pre-register on the autocross thing and I don't know what class I should put my car in or does it really matter since they will do all that during the inspection?

Just put down "unknown". I think you are going to be in SM (street Modified) but I am not sure enough to give you a good answer.

There is also a link to a DIY classing web page... basically check off mods and list type of car and it gives you the class. I have never used it...

Autocross.us is a great resource for autocrossers.

What are you looking for in "suspension parts" I have some stuff, I have sold off most of my extras that I was not using, but I still have some. Give me a grocery list and I will see what I have.

So how did things go at the track last night?

Langley last night...........

Rich in his 1st gen 83 GXL gave it a good effort being the power output in the car is LOW, having hard street tires and considering Rich's time behind the wheel of the car was limited to the 7 minute drive from Kenny's to the track lol. His result in the time trials was a 25.XX minutes. Then 1st lose (To a Honda), sent to B class. B Race, bi-run RICH WON!! B main, Rich loses again to a Honda, out of the race. Grudge match..... Rich loses to a Honda again, driven by a girl. He nearly caught her and lost maybe by 3 ~5 feet. Rich enters burn out contest....... revs to 7k, dumps clutch.. tires start to roast... then slowly slows down. Car just doesn't have the power (original 12a STOCK complete with all emissions, AC, etc and 120k on the clock). Was a fun night, gotta give it to Rich for actually getting out there in a car hes only had litterally minutes behind the wheel in (Though he lost to 3 Hondas and a girl lol). We need tires for this car, anyone have some good 13" slicks or auto cross tires? A full exhaust would be nice too (Jerry, you reading this?)

Kenny's results. Time trials, I think was 23.XX minutes, you could tell he wasen't running very hard. Before the race we took the car for a ride around the block so I could watch his A/F and boost pressures while he kept his eyes on the road. His third gear would grind every up or down shift. First race, kenny loses (240 sx I think {I'm 3 beers deep at this point lol}), he's looking to get into the B class (*caugh* sandbagging again *wink*). B main Kenny gets eliminated due to not being able to use 3rd gear and getting beat by a (Damn, can't remember {beer # ??? by now}). BTW, Kenny is one hell of a launcher, comes off the line STRONG. Grudgematch later against Rich in his first gen. Kenny takes it by a huge margine.

Was a great night even though the 7's didn't win a darn thing. Kudo's to both guys for getting something running and getting their butts out there a racing and entertaining many .

For Kenny's car, 1st tranny needs work, then engine tunning (guess Ken, me, Rich need to read up on the WOLF manual and get the wide band hooked up). Then Some suspension tweaking.

Over the next few races these guys will be good competition.

~Mike...........
