You don't have internet access???? that sux... Anyway how are things Pete? I need to get up with you sometime about some other stuff.

As far as autocross... just give up and build a ported engine and run Prepared. Prepared class street cars are very cool anyway.

[QUOTE=dbgeek]I don't have any messages on my phone, and I KNOW you have the number. PMing me on this forum truly is NOT the best way to get in touch, especially since I don't have internet at home yet.

i got ahold of peter finally thanks pete . i didnt know he was on vatcation ??? sorry my fault. but yeah i got the ball rolling as far as getting my megasquirt. i think peter is going to call you pete about some things on your setup.

Yeah I think that will be the case. We jsut wanted to get something to everyone. There will be a second run and we will do a better job of designing it. A pocket logo or something will be on the front. My thought is to use the complete rotor housing design for the back and that logo as a pocket emblem.... they will of course have to cost a little more like that, but I do have a very cheap source for the shirts. The "club" made a couple of dollars on the shirt that will be spent on a few things in the near future for the club (I didn't put it in my pocket).

I guess this is a good time to mention that I am going to shut down the rx7.meetup site no later than the end of December (unless they start making it free again). I am working on some software for the http://hamptonroadsrotaryclub.com/ webs site that will more "mimmick" the meetup site. That will become the clubs site.

I do need you guys to occassionally go over to http://hamptonroadsrotaryclub.com/ and click on a few of the ads to help pay for it. The activity has been low enough the past few months that it has not paid for itself and my blog site has been supporting it. So please help me out a little here.

Here are some things I intend to do over there...

I will set up so all members who have attended meets can post a car diary where they can write about car mods, etc. For each of you this can be set up as a sort of "homepage".

I am going to actually put some pictures and logos on the main pages so it looks a little "cooler".

I am going to link up the photos section to your homepage so you can easily include them in things you write about your car.

I will have the typical thigns like links sections, friendly ads, etc.

I will also convert some of the text google ads into photo ads.

It will have a complete calendar of events that everyone can enter events that you think we sould consider attending.

I will build a good area for event reports.

Any other ideas?

Oh.. BTW.... I am going to Summit Point Raceway this weekend. I am crewing for a friend who is taking his Spec RX7 (first gen GSL) to attempt to get his SCCA competition license. We do have some extra crew spots if anyone else wants to go up and be on a race car crew. At this event it really doesn't take too much work, and it should be pretty good fun. Summit Point is about a 4 hour drive. He can use someone to take videos and pictures if nothing else. It is great fun to be at the race track for the weekend. If you are interested PM me or let me know ASAP.

I'd love to go, but I think I really want to get my clutch job done and it'll probably take the better part of all weekend. Hope it doesn't snow

I am staying at the Lee Jackson Inn.... that is one of the nicer places in Winchester. I wonder if Steve (the guy who is paying for my room) got that on Priceline.

BTW Did one of you guys register on our photo site?

You have that option. Go to the registration and sign up. You can't upload pictures until I activate your account (it keeps spammers away). So PM or email me if you do sign up an account to upload pictures.
