92/93 VR = 4264
94 VR = 696
95 VR = 123
Total = 5083

All FD's = 13,879
More than a third of ALL FD's are Vintage Red. So yeah, that guy has a good chance of have a red one.

Actually, only in 92/93 did Mazda make more VR FD's than other colors. In 94 and 95 there were more MB FD's produced.

Hey guys... I wish I could make it up there this weekend for the airshow... my Fiance just moved down to Raleigh after getting out of the Navy this past July.

He has active reserves stuff this weekend here in NC, so we can't make it. We come up to Norfolk pretty often, so I'd love to meet up with you whenever we're in the area. I have an FC, and he has an FB now (new addition to our family).

If you guys are ever down in the Raleigh area, feel free to PM one of us, and we'll have a mini-meet, or even just get together and show you guys some local hospitality.

We've had FL guys come up here to buy an RX-7, and we spent some time with them while they were here. It's nice to meet people from outside the area.

I'll take the castrol gtx haha. and the guy is about 6ft with brownish redish hair. his mx-6 is gold with a black hood and green fender. i assumed his FD is red also haha. hes probably in his early 20's. he said it takes him an hour and 5 mins to get home from thomas nelson so he probably lives in cheasapeake or VA beach.

Who is the guy we have seen around with the red FD with the white (tan?) headlight covers?

can anyone around here fix a reverse dent(how technical eh?) in a hood? I just messed my hood up and about cried. Tempted to tap it with a mallet and cloth, but scared of what may happen.

won't be going to langley unless i get the car back together and running right. Not likely though since i have to work, so not much time to work on it.

you have to be really carefull with that hood because that's all aluminum. My friend has a hood that's already prepped to be painted.

yeah unfortunately i forgot about that. The one time i drop the hood rather than lower and press it in, I had something in there pointed up. My paint and everything was so nice too.

No money to buy new hood. Thanks though. Saving for rebuild which may happen sooner than expected.

took off uim to fix and find problems. Replaced hoses on the black box, with silicone ones. Then just tossed it aside to do some of the other hoses. Ran out of daylight so i tossed everything in the seat. And dropped the hood. Usually I lower it to the latch and press it down. The one time i didn't. (doh) Anyway. The hood didn't close when it dropped, so naturally I went to open it back up. Noticed it was tigher than usualy opening. Saw the black box sitting improperly. Looked under the hood and saw a tear in the under hood stuff. Put hood down and and closed it. Because the paint was very reflective I then Saw raised point in hood. Cried on inside for about 5 mins while trying to push it down with my thumb. Sunset, and I gave up and went inside.

Anyone that wants to enter the TSCC autocross on Sunday Sept 17th at Little Creek Amphib base (ACU-4) should register. The registration opens on Sunday September 10th at 8:00PM. I expect it to fill up rather quickly so do it at that time if you can. If you think you MIGHT want to run, go ahead and register. It is easy to cancel just by sending an email message or letting someone know. If you get on the waiting list I am sure you will be able to run. People cancel as the evnet nears and the next places are taken from the waiting list. Everyone who was on the waiting list has run every event so far.... Anyway this is the INFO page and it has links to the registration page:
