Yeah, definately post pics.... To join this Rotary club, just come to some events. I think I am going to get some membership card made up (similiar to the logo on the handout cards) just so everyone can feel a little identification.

I listed the next meet at AIK in July on Saturday the 15th. Anyone have any issues with that? I am fairly busy with other things between now and then.

My other automotive obsession is my Shelby, and for the first time EVER the Shelby Club National Convention is going to be in Virginia at VIR June 30th - July 2nd and I am going to be pretty tied up with that. It will be cool with about 500 original Shelbys, Cobras, GT40s, Bosses, etc as near to my home as they will ever be. My Shelby is going to make its first appearance at VIR since 1974 when it ran a time trials event.

I would love to have a shelby or "Eleanor".

A 65 mustang vert is on my list of wish to have.

I don't know if it came off a corvair, but I did get it from Alex. I also misplaced your number too. Email with it. SBMotors@***.net

Damn, you know Alex also? Hampton Roads is too small. I think I know 98% of the people in this area either directly or indirectly.

Do not torture me. Make sure it's at least a Michelob light or better. If not, I won't even come off I-95 for gas. LOL!!!!!

I am sorry Rich, I had things come up at the last minute. I planned on being there and going out there with Johny at some point. It was things beyone my control that kept me from going. I had the car ready and was really pissed I couldn't go.

I heard the event was pretty cool. There were a few other guys from this area up there, but I don't really know them. I had planned to meet up with them too when I was up there.

Sorry again.

Mark got the RX8 there. He was having a hard time getting it fixed after their wreck at the Grand Am race. Glad to hear they got it fixed.

Nice Pic. Did you wonder why the FD was so nicly tied down, He was having problems with it on Sat when I was there. First it wouldnt start and when it it did run it sounded to me to have blown a seal. The #65 viper is an instructor I think last year he was the one who went off track and tore the rear end off.
Sorry I missed you Rich

Nice looking cars. I need to start making it out to events, but there's always school, blah blah blah, women, blah blah, and work. It's unfortunate sometimes!

My car is gonna be getting fixed soon. I'm getting some fenders from Calvin. I still need to finish up some body work where the side got smashed in right above the rear wheel. Maybe someone has a parts car I could take a sawzall to, and just weld in that panel . Hmm, I could also use the water channel at the bottom of the hatch glass. Mine's rusted out. So if you wake up in the morning, and your car has holes in it, it was me. Sorry.

I have a parts car, and I have a fender lip for the right rear where I already sawzalled it out of a parts car. I am not going to use it now, so.... such a deal....

BTW, I "polished" the MAZDA logo and painted the front calipers black on the car when I bled the brakes. I'll post pics when I take some.
