we should all plan something on saturday night at tims place and all have a look at his car? who knows one of us might know what could be wrong if we put our heads together lol. id rather do that on saturday instead of being pushed out of a kroger every night...plus id get to meet another 7 owner.

Ok, I don't think we've met, I'd certainly remember a car as nice as yours. Well my daughter has a dance recital I have to attend Saturday afternoon. Though I'm free Sat morning and probably evening, and a good chunk on Sunday(I think). Maybe Friday? I'll ask Tim if he can reserve the base garage, that might be helpful.

Hey Yoshi I saw steve Kan get 278 from stock twins with all the cats. I see you posted in the Holiday laps at VIR thread You guys really need to Make a road trip soon. VIR is a cool place. Also I found out GTlive will be comming to VIR in Oct. Ill be at the beach some time around the Holidays maybe I can make it to another meet soon

LOL, well I've got a catback, downpipe, and ported engine. With the PFC and intake, I hope to get a bit more. You know what I want to see Steve Kan do??? Tune my car! I hear he's going to FL this winter, but that's a long drive. According to that thread, he'll go anywhere for at least $350/car five car minimum(plus dyno rental). Maybe we should get a group thing going in NoVa....

 

Ray at PFS is a good tuner and it will be alot cheaper just to go down there. Ray charges 150 per hour and that already includes the dyno. I'm planning on going down there to get mine tuned.

 

He knows rotaries?? I'm a bit aprehensive to have anyone look at my car unless they really know 7's. Hell, I was worried when I had Meineke do a state inspection! Since I've gotten her, only Brian, Francisco and I have touched my FD. When do you plan on going?

 

heck yea he knows rotaries, he tuned Ernie t's car and it made 642 hp to the wheels. I'm trying to set something up it all depends on the weather.

 

Sup fellas, I'm a noob and I'm about to purchase a white 1988 RX-7 GLX. Well, everything is fine exept for an exhaust leak by the header and the inspection tags not being up-to-date. I've been roaming around the forums and I'm trying to learn every bit about the car. It seems that buying a new header/cat/exhaust system will cost a lot. I want the car but for me to be legally driving around town, I need current inspection and atleast fix the exhaust leak.. Anyone here can hook up a noob?? Anyone here have a spare header being sold?
