Autocross at Little Creek ACU-4 (best autocross site in the area). Registration is now open and will fill up soon. Here is the link to register:

http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.co...d=22&Itemid=43

If you get on the waiting list (a WL number) you will still be able to run I am sure, so if you want to register do it and do it TODAY because it will fill up!

Pete and I have already registered, and will be there. All the info is here as well as on the meetup site.

http://rx7.meetup.com/55/events/5029258/

RSVP on the meet up site to let us know if you are going to go as well.

Tidewater Sports Car Club Autocross

This is part of the Summer Series autocrosses at ACU-4 at Little Creek Amphibouos Base. If you want to run you have to visit the info links and pre-register at

http://tidewatersportscarclub.com/

Go there and read all of the details about the event.

When:
Sunday, August 20, 2006 at 8:00 AM
Where:
ACU-4 Little Creek Amphibous Base
Little Creek Amphibious Base
Virginia Beach, VA 23452
757-NO-PHONE
Event fee:
$20.00 per person
Notes:
The entry fee is only if you plan to run the autocross, spectating is free.

The registration link is what you need to enter the event. Entry fills up in a hurry, so go to the site exaclt 2 weeks before the event and register. So far everyone who ended up on the waiting list has been able to run the event. So don't be upset about getting on the waiting list.

Hey everyone, just brought the TII down. So I need to know: who is the mechanic to take rotaries to around here? Any specialty shops or reliable shops that you guys use? Just looking for some recommendations, the closer to Yorktown the better!

Hey guys, looking for a favor from all of you in VA Beach, Norfolk area. I am moving down there from Southern MD in the very immediate future, and wanted to know something. I have searched for a job, but have not really found anything. Do any of you guys know of anybody that is hiring? Or any of you guys own a business and are looking for help? I am going to probably go to school at either Old Dominion University or to the ITT in Norfolk. Plus my girlfriend wants to move down here very badly.

I can pretty much do anything really. Construction, driver(DOT certified no CDL yet), sales, mechanic (to a certain degree).

So if anyone of you know of something just let me know by either an email or a PM on here. Email is rowtareh1@hotmail.com. Thanks a bunch. And I will probably be part of the club soon.

Thanks
Justin

Sweet! Another 7 owner! I'm a mod on one of the local forums, check this out:
http://www.sevencityforums.com

It's a general social forum(we have an employment section) with a car subforum. Good place for social networking. There's plenty of jobs down here if you take some time to look. You won't make as much as in NoVa or SoMd, but it's cheaper to live down here.

Well right now everything is running alright, I would like to have you check a few things out though. I know almost nothing about the cold start system which appears to not be working, it will start up but will immediately stall unless I milk the gas until the engine warms up. Also I'm getting a lot of jerking/bucking in the upper RPM range but its somewhat inconsistent. Im stationed at the Naval Weapons Station and leaving it there really wouldnt pose a problem. If you've got a number I can give you a call.
