DC Area Fall Road-Trip 2013
Great to meet everyone. The drive was awesome. Thanks for all who took the time to look at my car when it overflowed coolant. Just makes ke happier that I got a rx7. Till the next gathering
Hey everyone, thanks for coming out. We had a great turnout (best yet). Although, I know there were still quite a few missing, (fix your damn cars
). Thanks again for everyone keeping it safe (mostly). The two things that make a cruise great are safety and turnout. Weather is a close third.
As promised, here is a link to the Capital Driving Club meet schedule : SCHEDULE
Scroll to the bottom of the list and click the link that says "sign up now" in the same line of text as the 11/17 event. This should bring you to a form that is real easy to fill out. if you don't know the answer to one of the questions about your car (tires/weight/power) just guess. We can fix it on the day (and it doesn't really matter due to the event not being a competition one). Sign up soon too, there are only so many spots left. if the event closes before you get a chance let me know. I might still be able to squeak you in, maybe.
Again, thanks for the great event. Keep tuned to the DC AREA thread for more events in the area and to keep in touch.
Also, PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!! Lets see em!
(I know we did nothing illegal during the trip, but just in case you have some video or photos that might appear to show something of that nature, please do not post it)

13 total Rotary vehicles and a motorcycle (the piston engine was the only one who had to stop for gas
)
Best turnout so far, sorry you guys missed it. Here are the photos I caught:

It was great seeing/meeting everyone, I haven't been to a meet like that in forever. Sucks I had to leave before the brewery. That was the part I was looking forward to most

We definitely need more pictures.
jl1rx7: can you post a link to the bookface album?

Here is the book of face link. Didn't know if that is/was kosher. If isn't I will delete it out.

Oh eff, I knew there was a reason that I hadn't signed up for the Autox/TnT yet. I am leaving town to go to a football game Saturday. Oops
, Idk maybe I can squeak both in since it is a noon game I won't be out too late. It would be a real stretch to make it back by 8... Maybe I can convince them to let me do an Afternoon-Only session.
Alright, who is going to the test and tune tomorrow?
This is my first time.
What should I bring, should I leave my jack and tools at home, or bring them in case something happens?
Should I have already payed or do you pay there?
