injector leak or exhaust leak

injector leak or exhaust leak

is there a common thing to leak like 240s always have leaky injectors my car has a fuelly smell to it an loosing mpgs

unless you're smelling raw gasoline, it will be hard to determine what's leaking? i'd say just check both your fuel lines (from the tank all the way to the engine bay simply because a fuel leak can end up being lethal to both the car and you) and your exhaust system. neither are really that hard.

the car got a tiny bit louder wen i started smelling it idk if it could be my imagination though

well, are you smelling raw fuel or just a "richer" exhaust smell? the fact that you said it's louder would suggest an exhaust leak. i still say it won't hurt to examine both, just to be sure.

If its louder suddenly then you have an exhaust leak. But raw gasoline and exhaust smell a lot different.

glad you found the problem, but still if its an FC *or FC fuel system in another body* check you're pulsation damper, it looks like a regulator with out a vacume line and is on the primary *one on the block not intake* fuel rail.
