Done and done lol. Couldn't handle the wheel gap anymore so I got some 1 inchers for the front and rear. Just as a temp until I can afford cool kid wheels. And thank you for the kind words.

Is it a squeak? Try looking at the pullies to see if any of them wobble. This will cause a belt squeak. If no wobbling, try taking each belt off one by one and driving it (all except for the alternator belt cuz that **** won't run too long without it). Once the squeal goes away, you'll know which belt is causing it.

I wouldn't take each belt off you make cause more damage trying to drive it...I would goto autozone get some belt spray to quite the noise of the belts one by one soon as you find the bad belt you can replace it, if its still squeaking then you know its the pullies which has bearings that have dried out there is but a few pullies. It can be most of the time its a water pump pullie or the alternator

You can remove the A/C, P/S, and air pump belts and go for a quick test drive and not damage anything. I promise. As long as your alternator and water pump belt is still on you'll be fine. But yea the spray stuff will work sometimes as long as you spray each belt or pulley individually to find the cause.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry Aaron, but belt spray is GARBAGE. Abosulutely worthless product that is nothing more than a bad band-aid. Taking the belts off on at a time is not going to hurt anything, just DO NOT take the water pump belt off. A Three minute drive with no water pump is BAD! But, replacing all the belts is not a bad idea, either. Rotaries generate so much heat under the hood that alll the rubber gets baked in a short period of time. I replace my belts YEARLY. And dont use anything but Goodyear or OEM Mazda belts.

thats a will do. I was thinking about a carbon fiber hood as well. Not so much for looks but to kinda cool down the engine bay.

If you haven't done so already get rid of the stock exhaust manifold and replace it with a wrapped or ceramic coated header. This will significantly lower engine bay temps and give you an extra few HP across most of the powerband.

I was shocked to see a clean white RX 3 on Montgomery today. Car looked great. Does anyone know who this is? Next time we have a meet we need to invite that guy. I would love to get a closer look at it, and some pic's.
