Haha yeah I loved that wing. Nice pics! That was a terrible day of drifting though, only got a couple solid runs. Exhaust hangers broke, so I ran open downpipe. After I finally started getting a feel for the car, and started doing tandems, the damn pass tie rod had to break. Oh well, next time.

 

I was wondering why the exhaust disappeared suddenly haha. I left halfway through though, I'm guessing before the tierod broke because i never saw anything happen other than when you spun and stalled, which is where i got that picture of you facing us. Started getting too hot to be out without any shade. I got another nice layer of tan, little brother and my buddy are red as lobsters though lol.

That was you, right? I keep referring to you as the one driving but I'm not 100% sure if it is or not.

 

Yeah instead of destroying the exhaust I thought I'd endure the lag and go open downpipe. **** was loud!
I got super burned too. It was hot out. I didn't stall that time, the keys actually came out of the ignition and I couldn't find them.
And yeah haha that was me driving. Only other people allowed to drive the car are Dan Brockett and my buddy Tony

You were doing a really good job!! Being boosted helps keep the slide going.... it was hard to get mine sideways

My friend James qualified in the top 8, and looked to be a top 3 contender all day, he just tried a little too hard for a wall tap and wrecked the car.
And thanks Alex I didnt feel like I did well at all though. Still learning a lot. You did really well, especially for an n/a lol

haha ya a year and a half driving a honda fit was nice, but its good to be back in a rx7. I like buying my rx7s off some local guy here, and the timing was just too perfect to say no. She currently is hiding in the garage. Water pump craped out so its been replaced. Also tossed in a koyo radiator. Finally just waiting for my air intake and ps&ac bracket to show up.

I couldn't believe my ears when my dad came home and told me that his co-workers' son bought the car off the guy building my motor for me that just bought that new orange one that was at my house 5 minutes ago etc. etc.
