Hey folks, I'd figure I'd introduce myself to the people who are actually local to me. My name is Harrison, I have a 2007 Scion tC that's always changing wheels (purple BBS style 5's, Purple RPF1's, Alphards) so you may have seen me around. The tC is down at the moment, and I am buying a FC from Jeff, the guy with the 1jz cressy. I'm new to the fc, but I'm looking forward to getting this car into clean condition: new fenders, a bumper, new rear bumper, paint, etc.
And to the guy in the red/black fc, I see you driving around alot in the menaul/wyoming area.

Thanks folks, I feel welcome. I'll def need help, engine is running 750cc injectors on a stock ecu/tune, so I'm running way rich. Gotta figure out whether to get a tune or get smaller injectors.

street port all the way, with a stage up on the turbo is a good start i would say.

 

Not that I don't agree, but at the moment I want to get the body clean, so I was thinking that oem injectors would be the way to go? Engine is stock besides greddy bov and rotary works v mount.

 

I hear you, nothing wrong with that.

 

Yeah, put stock injectors back in it. You will not ever clean it up with the stock computer. You are likely losing power at this point.

 

I've got 4 stock 550cc low impedance injectors for you if you need them

 

^ those may work for you as long as your car is 87.5 or older.

 

I'm down! and yes, its a 87. Would you want cash or trade for mine?

And to rx7onfire, I am losing power. it pulls well but I can tell that its just getting way too much fuel for it to handle.

 

Just buy an rtek or standalone, a bigger fuel pump, and wideband. Tune and make use of those injectors! That's what I would do.

I don't think he wants to throw any money on engine and fuel mods right now, just paint and body. And I can agree with that....

Yeah this Turbo is gigantic! GT42R with a t6 1.01 hotside. Should make a little boost haha

Thank you, I figure people will respect a car that looks decent and is decently fast versus a riced out pos that is a little more than decently fast.

 

That was the same prob I had after my fender bender. Nasty black primered fender equals shoddy lookin ride. My wife and I invested the insurance money in a HVLP sprayer and she used her painting skills at the base hobby shop and now it looks better. The finish came out a little duller, but I may still be able to polish it as the basecoat was a really good job and matched really well. We'll see. Right now I've got a line on a bonez high flo cat and dp. Time to flow more air through my baby.
