I'm waiting for my T2 coli to get here and some new boost hoses. I have not installed the procomp 6al yet.

 

installed my ignition........ it sure as hell woke the e85 up

 

I'm less than 24 hrs from finally turning the key. My motor hasn't been run in almost 13 months. I just got my odyssey battery today while at work. I needed something short to fit under my intercooler piping. I just need to install the battery and plug wires. Then I can put oil and coolant in, load my basemap, and turn the key Once I know the engine isn't blown up, wiring the e-fan and intercooler pump is all I have left.

My only last possible concern is that I haven't rewired my fuel pump. It was an NA chassis, so at least I'm wired for full power all the time. The TII's have the resistor which drops voltage to9v while cruising. Anyone else using factory fuel pump wiring??

 

Take me off the tuning list ... big shocker huh? Absolutely no progress has been made on my car.

On a positive note, my car started last saturday. I had a small oil leak at the turbo oil feed, and a water leak at the thermostat housing. Those should be fixed now. No fuel leaks. The idle was bouncing from 2-3K, but I haven't boost leak tested yet. This thing just might work after all...

 

just don't blow it up! I can't begin to tell you how many people have broke their motors the week before the dyno

I will leave Friday before 9am, as I have an 8hr drive to get there. My two goals for Friday are to check into my hotel after 4pm, and find the shop so i know where I'm going on Saturday. Then I will be ready to chill, get my buzz on, or whatever. My girlfriend keeps wanting to tag along, but I'm not really feelin that. Hopefully I can let her down easy, otherwise I may have to resort to the breakup. I guess we will see how it unfolds....

 

After two attempts, I think we've had enough of the OZ. That place went downhill fast...

I know that everyone will want to drink, so I'm not sure how South County will work.

I think Tony mentioned something about hanging out in their Hotel Room. But, I'm down for anything. We can go to a nice place downtown or a place next to Tony's hotel. I plan on getting tore down so I'd rather not drive and I'd hate to make Thao be the designated driver. I still have yet to see her have more than one drink. I think that's a call out.......

Dude, I couldn't do that to Tony and Thao. Tony, he could handle it (Maybe). But, Thao would be ruined for life.

 

South County is 45 mins from my house, it's a place where people cruise around and race.

If that's you're thing and you're feeling froggy, Hall Street is usually a good show. We took Kan there a few years ago but had to leave because Steve was scared....

 

Tony- That piece of **** still is not home, but it will be home next month. I am ******* excited, I might even get it in good enough running condition to drive it to SevenStock.



Eric- I am not really down for street racing. I would be fine with just hanging out and having some beers and just shooting the **** with everybody. I find that more enjoyable.
