Way to go dick head! You just jinxed us all!

OMG, my engine is actually in the engine bay this time around!!

Where is the dyno location this time around? No longer Tuxedo park? Guess that means I need a new dyno deposit eh?

IL House call anyone?

Anyone in the Belleville/Fairview Heights area who is willing to take a look at my new toy? '74 REPU which has had some work (12a with 5 spd, custom exhaust) and lots of unknowns. Very had to start but runs once started. I would like to get a general accessment of what I have and options going forward. You can call Terry at (888)280-6589 or email to tsmalmon@yahoo.com.

thanks

All of you guys driving Kan tuned vehicles currently, I need to ask: Does Steve tune for a balance of street driveability and max hp, or does he bias the tune toward your desired setup? I just want some feedback from anyone who has had Steve work on their ride before. My car is 95% street driven. I am totally self educating myself on the Power FC, and would prefer a tune that will allow me to cruise my convertible around town this summer with minimal adjustments from me. I would enjoy tuning for as much HP as possible, but don't want a WOT tune that is a bitch on the road. My understanding is that Steve can tune for anything from max gas mileage to max HP. I'm running the narrow range S4 TPS, which is newer to Power FC tuning. I think I am just trying to reassure myself that my car will drive smoothly after it's off the dyno, as I assume there isn't a spot for street tuning near by to further work out the kinks.

Feedback?

A wot tune has very little to do with driveability i mean think about its the peddal hits the floor and thats it till you let off. So thats one part of the tune, then comes driveability, start, idle, cruise, load up to wot and the fuel and timeing transition.

And i run 20lbs on the spring no adjustment except my right foot. 500h/p on demand but starts good and drives good and gets 22mpg on the highway.
Two years now and still running strong.

Steve can tune for anything you want, granted that the car is in working order.
He is the man.
99.99999% of the time there are any delays or issues is because the car on the dyno has bugs.
Ask me how I know.

I had mine tuned by steve awhile back, S5 w/ a Power FC. All you have to worry about is having your car 100% ready(mechanically) to be tuned and steve will handle the rest. Speaking on experience your FC will drive better in every situation wot, idle, cruise etc..On mine I thought I had it ready but had forgot to wire up my fuel pump directly to 12v.As the PowerFC doesn't recognize the FC's resistor relay function, small stuff like that can hamper a tune.

But I know that Kan only needs 4 cars to make this happen. Seems like 2 are in already. If Eric has his stuff done, that's 3, and I am sure one of the Indiana guys will make it down.

So what's the word? The word is the bird!

Hey chris, keep a eye out for some cheap 850cc injectors. You need to swap out your 550's.
