VWH, are you getting tuned? I'd like to see that mini-tub in person. Plus I'm anxious to know when we have four people, and it becomes official

Juiceh, you going to make an appearance?

Get it tuned with the cardboard in there! I am going to PM Juiceh and see if he's coming down this time.

That cardboard looks too nice to remove. Plus it has to be lighter than your eventual plans. I'd say leave it in there permanently At least on the dyno you won't be throwing up any rocks through there, maybe just some rear end gears...

I'll be in for shure. I have to get a few more parts but will have by June. I'm basicly parking the 7 till he gets here. The plans are for a street ported/3mm/single turbo setup.

Eric - what ignition was Seve talking about when he was here?

I'll get a more organized list together this weekend.

As some of you know, Steve Burkett closed down Tuxedo Park Racing because he's gone back to school for his Master.

So, we're going to hold this tuneup at Genes Automotive. $80/hr and it's a dynojet.

Eric put me down at the bottom of list for another tune. I'm thinking of removing the CAT. Pending email response from Steve.

In case Chris doesn't respond. He already found some injectors.

You'll make more power with those cats off.

Where did you stop last time? Ignition problems? I forgot.....

Does anybody have advice for what kind of spark plugs I should install for the tune? Right now I have almost new BUR6EQ/BUR8EQ installed, and an extra new set. My car is street driven about 2-3000 miles a year. S4 TII motor w/ Power FC hoping to push 14-16psi with a T04E .60/.84 I feel like I should at least get BUR7EQ/BUR9EQ. For all I know, what I have may be fine, or 7's and 9's may not even be cold enough. I'm using the stock coil packs (trailing modified per banzai instructions) and currently have magnecor wires. If more info on my setup is needed, just ask. I really don't want to pop my motor this year.

Wasn't Gene's the place that got all sketchy with us last time?
Didn't the guy stop responding to you a few weeks before the tune?

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

If you want to be added to the list, please let me know asap.

Tony's getting tuned this time around?

Also, is Juiceh actually going to make it down? Or will he skip out again? And how far is the new place compared to Tuxedo Park?

It's 30 minutes from my house, near troy Illinois. Yep, Tony is getting tuned this time around. Juiceh said last week that he's going to be ready. I hope he is.
