In February you can get BIG swings here in terms of conditions, but as I write this, it's -5 F. outside (one of the coldest days so far this winter). Not quite 6 inches of snow on the ground, but we did have some snow over the last 24 hours.

I've never driven in cold like that. How does the 13b handle those conditions (13b's r notorious for overheating)

I've never driven my car when it's that cold either. Mine is down for a rebuild right now, but it's always in storage anyway from about Thanksgiving to Easter. I always notice an increase in turbo response when ambient is cool....say < 65 F. I would guess that you'd probably spike really easy at those temps. In general, suspensions and tires are much stiffer too.

Hes not in Nebraska. Hes in SW tip of Missouri. And as far as i know he is the closest one. There is also Banzai Racing in Indiana. Those are the closest 2 that i know of.

my rx7 is my daily driver, i've driven it all winter long. Its got 138,xxx miles on it and it still handles the cold weather like a g! But i ALWAYS let it warm up for atleast 10-15 min. So i haven't had any problems with it regardless of the freezing weather

If you can keep it away from snow and frost, the 7 is just fine in the winter. However, in snow, I cant drive either one of my 7's (FB or FC) without the *** end sliding.

My winter ride is the oldest, ugliest Chevrolet 4 X 4 you've ever seen. Gets like.....10 ft. to the gallon. But the heater works and I've got a "company car" for work.

Looks like I got to put my 7 on the injured list cause the master or slave cylinder is leaking. When I get there I'm going to have to see the damage. I'm told that they can't find the leak, but the reservoir gets low after being filled.

Yeah we should definitly get some 7's with that group. We should get it going early to get the interest started so people can make plans. I get mine tuned March 29-30 so anytime after that on the weekend works for me. Would be awesome to have a bunch of cars.

By the way, you sure you want to invite the 7's???

Check this site out for some action in NE.
http://www.1320video.com

Not the best representative of street racing but you do see a few 7's in there every now and then.

mine doesn't run, a kid down the street from me has an FB, a red TII was for sale a few months ago at a dealer, there was a black vert for sale last year, I'll see one driving on occasion but not many out this time of year, there are a few at SCCA autox events. There isn't much of a scene here from oct through april.

you guys should get together at least twice a week just to shoot the s#!t. Here in miami we meet up at pizza joints or the side shows and chill or lie to each other about the kill we did. It's fun. Plus, some guys have thing that they don't need and we give each other first dibs or discounts.
