Im still here. Just rewired my car and pulling the rear to install the 8.8. Otherwise I believe I just need tuning.

I have an Black FD R1 in Omaha. Quite a few Mods just need to get it back together. Looking for someone knowledgeable with a little extra time to help. I am not against paying for your time either.

In a month or two its going to have a T70 turbo dropped in.

sways, springs, shocks

and a few other stuff

it only dynos 207 now on a mustang dyno.

 

I'm in Omaha as well. I've been hanging on to my non-running fb for a few years now waiting for the winning lottery ticket so I can get it out of the garage. I do have plenty of fb parts if someone needs something. I haven't been on the board for awhile but I have more time at work to do it now. I'm very knowledgable about fb's not so much on later gen's. I am an ase certified mechanic and general questions are welcome also.

Count me in on the RX-7 get together. I have a White(/primer gray) '90 GXL (Project Car - Could use help but I'm in North Central NE) A silver '84 GSL (Parts Car) and a red '85 GSL. I lived in south central Omaha for about 2 years, but recently had to move to pay off my student loans. I'm the only owner of a 7 that I know of in my area, or within 2.5 hours.

 

That'd be cool if you could make it out. A bit of a drive but it's always fun to get a bunch of rx7 guys together. I hope you got a good paying job out there though to move that direction

 

Nope, a loving family. Make my ends meat by fixing and tuning computers. Im getting a garage cleaned out so I can start ripping cars apart to sell the pieces. I've got several on the waiting list to be torn apart. Ill probably post up some RX-7 parts when I get what I want off the silver car.

 

so....how many "RUNNING" rx-7's are there in omaha. Juat wanted to know cause I live in miami and I had my FD shipped there. I'll be there from the 6th to the
12th of february for some down time and i wanted to see the RX7 scene.

 

I would be down to meeting some people. Hopefully i can track down a haltech and figure out how to rebuild a engine that can last on the first try lol....just blew up another engine recently..last weak
