I live in omaha. I have a 3rd gen. Theres probably about 10 people that i know of from omaha on this site

Well my turbo vert is down at The Rotary Doctors getting rebuilt. We should get together some weekend and go cruise around the big O. It would be tight to have a pack of rx's!

i used to have an rx7 but sold it, im lookin to get back into a fc but aint seen one fs in omaha for a while.. if yall see or know anything lemme know..

 

I bought my first FC from nebraska (in my sig) and later it got wrecked . It was such a great car too.

 

Joe, Bellevue guy, checking in here lol my car still isn't running. Been in the garage for some years but is so close to running I can smell the exhaust fumes. I vow to have it running within the next month. It's honestly 5 min from being done I'm just missing some parts and I don't know what I need hehe. If anyone who knows 2nd gens wants to come slap me around and tell me how big of a moron I am I'd appreciate it

 

Hey Joe! Good to see you still on the boards. Was afraid you'd sold your car... or something. I wouldn't be much technical help, but if you need some unskilled grunt work to get it up and going, let me know.

I know of someone that was selling a 91 5-spd w/about 95K. All stock. I don't know alot about FCs but I started it up and everything looked good. Solid body, Red paint is really faded badly but interior is 8 out of 10. She had it for sale early this summer but IMO, it was way overpriced. She took the For-Sale sign off of it but if I get a chance I'll check on it.

Justin is planning to come over with his FC tomorrow so I can scope out the engine for what I might need still. There's not really much grunt work to be done, just need some technical assistance in getting it going. Basically need to hook up the oil cooler lines, the upper manifold, secure the pullies, fan and shroud, and see if I can get her running.

 

The Rotary Doctor is in Neosho, Missouri. It is in the very southwest corner

I just spent 90 bucks at woodhouse mazda. Not this weekend but maybe the next I'll have her running hehe. Wish me luck

hey guys im in Omaha, and i just picked up a 87 T2 with only 40K miles on it, that im gonna have for a project car.

 

Im in Omaha, Putting my new s4 engine in my GSL-SE, dellorto carb, alm fly.... Next weekend. Don't see as many older 7's around like I used to.

Whatever she's paying the guy that runs the on-line selling site is too much. The engine compartment pictures are of a different car. Note the colors.
I've looked at the car in person, and it's completely stock. All emissions, aircleaner....everything as far as I can tell. IMHO, anyone who is interested in this car and lives in the area should arrange to see it in person too.

I have a Silver FD, I live in Lincoln...currently blown motor but just found out about this Rotory Doctor shop in Missouri...sounds like i might need to get ahold of them for my electrical problems too.

 

Yeah I cant wait to get mine back. Im in Lincoln also. Well have to meet up when i get it back and go cruise around. Get that Rx back on the road lol
