Hey Iowa
There's a Mustang Club autocross at the Marshalltown track next weekend (Aug 4).
I'll either be there with the '7 and some ancient race tires to try out, or with the Subaru... not sure yet.

Caveat:I have no financial or other interest in this place. Just thought I'd share this with my fellow Iowans Rotorheads. Quantities are limited so a posting in a general forum would mean a quick sellout.
http://www.ufixitautoparts.com/
has apparently new Fuel injectors for FC & FDs for 25-32 a piece. Not much more than the price to have your old ones rebuilt. Quantities are often single digits.
The trick is that front page search will use "rx7", you need to search using "rx-7" instead.
These are stock parts, not performance parts. There several other parts, some lousy (price and quality wise), some great deals. (at $7 for a slave cylinder, I bought one as a spare).
I've bought parts from this place in the past, so I don't think they are rip-offs. I also just bought a new set of injectors.

Hey guys thought I'd introduce myself here. I will be an owner of an a black 94 R2 RX-7 starting this Friday. Name's Nealand and I think I may have talked to Casey on this forum before. I am from Des Moines and have mostly been autocrossing in my current car (Nissan Sentra Spec V) and plan on building this RX-7 for autox and track days. If any of you guys ever want to autox here in the Des Moines area let me know because I haven't seen very many RX7s at the meets here.

Well after some consideration of my current engine's condition (needs a new rear main seal and front cover set) I was wondering if there's anyone around here that can help me with getting these replaced. I'm in the Des Moines/Iowa City area btw.
I'm in Iowa City and always down to wreck, I mean... wrench on someone else's car.
In other news, Colorado roads rock and the camping is awesome. The night scene leaves something to be desired in some parts of Denver on a wednesday night.
So, now that the wrx wagon is pretty much done (one last thing, a bent rear strut courtesy of the previous owner, and the ensuing alignment), my attention is getting turned back to the fb. The local yard owner said he had two new ones come in (or supposed to come in). Ian, blmcquig, anyone want to go have a look see?

I am available on most fri, sat, sun. I have no idea who's TII that was and havent seen one. However, I did spot a white SA parked at a house in the Sycamore mall area. Actually, it was closer to the edge of town but in that general area of town.
