Got caught up on some sleep. It was good.

 

Straightened out my fender and wired up my headlights yesterday, as well as found a bunch of wires cut and unattached behind the dashboard, one of which is the ubiquitous LY + wire that looks like it's causing my problems. That was yesterday. Today, worthwhile day in DM. Pulled the engine and transmission out of the wrx. It's ready for new framerails/ a new front end. Wished I had an engine hoist.

 

i did some work to my 81 , put in the maroon steering wheel out of an s3 and i got the passenger side rear quarter looking fantastic !!

 

sweet, good to hear everbody was out enjoying the day.
myself, i got my oil changed, transmission gasket changed, and put in transmission oil. Royal Purple FTW!

 

Alright guys, in case any of you hasn't looked in the meet thread i created, rich called to rent the pavillion but it was already rented so he called around and found a nice creakside one at Noelridge. We need some more input so chime in guys.....thanks

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...08519671QQrdZ1 ... the seller of this car called me a couple weeks ago in responce to my qconline add and asked me if i were interested . this car dosent run , brakes are bad , in fact the car has no brake fluid at all . and still dosent , the guy jerked me around and called me twice both times wasting my time. haggling for a rolling chassy . this car is not worht the money that some retard bid it up to . this car is not a good running car at all . when i went to look at it i took alot of pictures nothing on this car makes it worht 2000 . it even has an aftermarket sunroof .
sorry bout the little bit of venting but the guy was being an *** to me . figured i would warn you guys

ok... i have realized in the last few days while trying to take my turbos out that i know as much about an rx7 engine as i do about building rockets.... and i kno nothing about building rockets....

where is the closet place that i can take my FD to get it fixed? that will not charge an arm and a leg. im in hampton, ia (its in the middle of iowa, google it) there is a mazda dealer in waterloo about an hour away (but i will not take it to a mazda dealer)

is there any RX7 specialists? or at least rotary specialists?

 

or... lol... if anyone have an extremely large amount of free time and boredom feel free to stop in some sunday and take a look.

 

i charge $20 an hour.

 

Well i just got done taking mine off and porting them so maybe i'll try and head out there once mine's done. It shouldn't take more than 2 hours to get them off depending on how far you've already gotten.

 

Hey guys check the other thread and add some input as far as the date of the meet. I dont care what day or place, Im hardcore. Gravel roads dont scare me... We need to figure this out as soon as we can so everyone can get time off from work and/or make plans.
