Once the 7 gets out of the garage (tomorrow most likely) I will be able to set up everything and start making it happen. BTW I told you that it may take a bit, so calm down lol. Also, I cant paint anything without the paint!!! I can get it primered, and ready to paint but thats as far as I can go.

So Eric, when are you gonna buy the paint and bring it down? lol

Hey would any of you guys happen to be the guy driving a black FC turbo II at an autocross in Polk City/Des Moines, IA area in March? I know he lurks around these forums, but didn't know if it was one of you guys. I was the one autocrossing the black Nissan Sentra that day because my FD's suspension was in need of an overhaul.

Hey guys I just wanted to give you all the first crack at buying my car if anyone is in the market. Its a 94' vr touring with black leather interior and only has 67k mi. I blew the motor two years ago and since then installed a rebuilt one I bought from another forum member that apparently has **** for compression. I can get it to run just barely but it runs like total crap, smokes like no other and drips raw fuel out the exhaust. No check engine light comes on when I get it running which leads me to believe it was just a shitty rebuild. When I put the rebuild in I also installed all brand new injectors, gaskets, hoses(vac and h2o), spark plugs and wires, and I'm sure a few other things I cant think of right now. It has an Apexi N1 exhaust, resonated midpipe, alluminum ast, some cheap intakes, all emissions removed and plated off, alluminum crossover and y pipe. I'll also throw in the R1 strut tower bar I havent even used yet and all of the original stock parts I removed. It would be nice to get 10k for it but I'll take offers or what do you guys think I should be selling it for? I hate to get rid of her but the wife hasnt let me spend any money on it since I bought a dud motor and I dont forsee her letting me any time soon. So here you go. Let me know what you guys think. My number it 319-400-6922. I work out of town during the week so if anyone would like to see it, it would have to be on saturday or sunday or possibly late friday. Sorry I dont have pics, I dont know how to post them.

Thanks

Buy it and then give me the NA. I got a 351 and a T-5 that need a good home. You can keep the engine from it lol.

Yeah blowing motors always sucks. No good man. Are you gonna build it better or just sell it or what?

Yes I still do it but it will take a decent amount of time as I am currently working on Erics car. Getting it all stripped down and ready to paint.

Did you come to the meet a couple summers ago?

Were you the one who said he blew the motor right before the meet?

Hey. If any of you guys are interested in an autox here in Des Moines let me know. The event is at MLK parking lot Sunday May18. Pre-registration is open now and I highly recommend you sign up if you are even thinking about going for even a nano-second. Pre-Registering is free and the event will be $20 for SCCA members and $30 for the SCCA weekend membership that includes the autocross that day. If any of you guys are even curious you can come watch for free too. Trust me though, it's alot better to participate than watch. Pre-registering is below

http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...sevent_id=9102

I won't make it out there in my FD but I will be trying to continue my streak this season in G Stock with my Nissan Sentra at least. Had an 1st and 2nd gen RX7 and 3 RX-8s (kinda disappointed I didn't fill in that 3rd gen gap). Hope to see more rotaries out at these events.

Nice Stix! I hope you make it. Find someone to take your shift on Sunday. I would love to see your RX7. Mine won't make it because my suspension will be going through a mini overhaul with the new bushings, dampers, and springs I got for it waiting in my basement....plus I suspect that my oil dripping problem may have returned and needs to be looked at again.
