may sounds good to me i just need to figure out whats wrong with my car so i can drive it

the last two years we had it on the 14 of may maybe we should shoot later in the month so the weather is alittle bit better id say just start throwing dates out and see what everyone thinks

there's the 13th,20th,27th those are all sundays i figured that would be the best day of the week to have it

Weather was really crappy at the last two in May...I say shoot for later. May 27 will be Memorial Day weekend.

So, the DOT screwing me has turned into my apartment complex screwing me. I realize it's their right, but since I don't have tags on the car, they are threatening to tow it by friday. The DOT is two months overdue on their '3-week' turnaround process in my title application. Surprisingly enough, they were only a week overdue when I did the same thing for one of my bikes. Damnit. Anyone in the Iowa City area willing to help me fix it up tomorrow or thursday to get it running so I can move it?

that sucks about your plates dude, they dont give you temporary paperwork showing your are going thru the application process? I would ask them for that if anything...

Also theres a guy i have worked with in IC that pretty makes the DOT his bitch, he'd most likley have your tags in the mail asap, but hes kinda pricey... lemme know if u need the contact info

 

I got them to get their asses moving. The bond papers are waiting in my IC mailbox for me (I'm in des moines working on the wrx). And The way my fb is looking, trust me when I say that I probably can't afford him.

My apartment manager is being real nice, as long as I keep the tires inflated (with a bike pump, no less) and the windows not broken, and still working on getting tags, she's willing to let it slide.

Apparently, they looked at the fact that they sent out the bond letter on my bike, and decided not to send it out to my car. Granted, the bike is a rotary too, but this just sucks for me. But, at least it's getting solved.

We've had better turnouts at CR so i'd vote for that. I live in Des Moines and i've came up twice for the meets so it's not bad.

I'm a fan of the pavillion that we've met at in the past. Perfect for pictures and good local area.

 

Yeah, out here was ok- but not everyone was happy with the gravel and one of Our neighbors here mentioned of the noise a few weeks later, but they weren't mad or anything...(thx Ian! ) lol

HAHA hell yes. Took the nitrous out completely today, except the bottle brackets. Its gonna end up in the mustang, so it will just sit in a box for the next couple years. Does anyone know if it is safe or preferred maybe to have nitrous in the tank or should I empty it? I suppose if anything we can all just stand around it at the pavillion and we can all have a funny time......

I got body damage also. I got stuck in the driveway this winter and smacked into a plant pot a couple times rocking the car back and forth to get out. Dont hate on my gray spot...
