Stop me from burning my car!!!!
Ok getting very frustrated and about to burn my car....
FC
Bosch Coils
MTX8
(+) on coils wired to 12V ignition
(-) on coils wired as per diagram for the mtx8
The coils see 12V at ignition and see about 10V while cranking...When i hold the lead a cm or so away form coil there is no spark arcing in between them.
Brand new coils, leads are not new, plugs are not new YET.
Any way to check if the ignitors in the ECU have pood themselves, because i cant think of anything else atm

Shame on this forum. Seems someone on the MT forum, maybe a moderator or SOMEONE would have a clue. Maybe try the FC3S.ORG forum? Slow forum there, but some good replys there also. http://www.teamfc3s.org/ or there is a NOPISTONS.COM forum out there .....somewhere.

Im not sure if your the same guy on ausrotary. But i told you how to check the ignitors.
Get a test light.
Put the clip on an earth(strut tower nut for example) and put the test light probe on the negative while someone is cranking(make sure you let it crank for around 10 seconds) and the test light should flash.
If it dosnt flash and it just stays lit up then your ignitors are fubered.
I dont understand how this forum is slow, im on it once everyday at least. sometimes you just gotta be alittle patient.

Also how sure are you that the computer is an mtx8?
Do me a favour, get a handset, plug it in, when you fire it up, what does it say in the software, mtx8 or mt8?
Also let me just confirm.
Did you ground the black wire on the 6pin loom to the block? if its not grounded then you wont get any spark.
call me on the number i gave you on ausrotary and ill give you more help.

Definitely MTX8
Definitely perfect, got it checked by MT themselves.
Still no spark, yes is grounded by the 6 pin to top of block.
Tried test light(normal globe out of old series 2 light), didn't pulse just stayed alit.
