Exclamation Does the Micro Tech lt10 test injectors?

Hey guys I was just wondering if when I put the microtech in test mode would it shoot fuel out of the injectors? I just tried it and there was very little fuel coming out of the injectors but when I looked at the fuel pressure it was down to zero. So I guess I was woundering if the microtech actually turns the pump on to get fuel pressure durring the test?

Also for some reason the mt keeps giving me an error of 'AIR' no matter how I wire this damn little air temp sensor. Any tips would be great.

The microtech switches the fuel pump off so the injectors will still open and close but their will be bugger all fuel coming out.
Also for your air temp sensor?
are you using the correct air temp sensor?
is it giving you a reading or just reading-00

Thanks for replying. I tried wiring that Air Temp sensor all sorts of differant ways today and none of them got rid of the "AIR" error message I am getting. I'm using the stock IAT sensor and it's showing 0.

The sensor is wrecked. Or the plug could be wrecked.
The air temp sensor is not polar so it can be wired anyway.

Black wire and brown wire.

I've got two differant sensors so I know it's not that, I guess maybe the plug but how could that really be wrecked? Will the ecu start up with that error code? Thanks again man.

Also should my ecu be saying status 'cranking' when the ignition is only to ACC? IF not would that be a cas issue? Thanks.

No that is normal.

Check the wires you are using. Make sure they are not cut anywere.
The error will only go away once you switch the microtech off and switch it back on.
Dont worry about the error so much. Look to see if its giving you a reading or not.

Check your plug and double check the wires as sometimes people confuse the black wire for air temp sensor with the black wire that is used to ground the computer.
THe air temp sensor black wire is thin and the ground for the computer is thicker.
Get a multimeter and do a continuity test from the air temp sensor plug back to the ecu.

Thanks for the advice man, I'm going to check those things out today, I'll let you know how it goes. So should the car still start with this error? I mean when I used to have an lt8 the ait was always way off so I'm not sure if it actually has anything to do with the tune or not.
