how can i check my ignitors

this is in an LTX-8 so the ignitors are in the ecu, as im told. how can i check them? just my trailing.

Connect a coil pack to them. ANd get someone to spin the cas to a descent speed and it should fire them.

well the problem is that they still dont fire when my car is running. i tried my aftermarket coils and even the stock coils and nothing worked. i dont think its the wiring, so i think its the coils.

how do i spin the cas?

Either spin it really fast with your hand or put a drill with a clamp fitting on it and spin it with that.
need to get it over 1000rpm or the trailing wont fire.

if my ignitors were bad, could i just run the stock trailing pack with ignitors intact? or would htat not work?

As far as i know you couldnt do that. But i have never tried it so its just a guess.
