Just what the subject says, what have you done, and how?

I'm still waiting for my wideband sensor to come in.

did quite a bit of road tuning yesterday, going off of the Microtech A/F ratio readings, my car is running great but I really need a dyno or a wideband

Ive done some road tuning as well. My car runs absolutly flawless (no hickups or anything.. um, hot start problems though). I am running 760cc primary injectors with no injector trim added or subtracted.

Problems explode once my secondaries come on at 3k, 5hg though. Damn. 850cc secondaries makes things waywayway too rich. I wish %stage was working the way I want!!!!!

why don't you try setting them to come on at a higher load, like 0-1psi?

for the hot start add some more fuel to the cranking enrichment that should fix,

move your %stg up to around 75% then just tune it out, ie when you get to 5hg just reduce the fuel a litte until it is smooth

I noticed that I definitely needed to add fuel much earlier in the lower rpms. I began adding fuel at around -10 hg. higher rpms are all run rich(maybe too rich) from 4500 on.

In matrix mode, right after the 4000 rpm map, there is a map simply called "load" what the hell is that? what does it do?

Ok guys, just got off the phone with jon, he tryed to explain it to me the way the stagging works, if i mess this up he will fix tonight,

ignore what is written in the book it will confuse you no end,

when the stagging is on 50% this is for identical size primary-secondarys, as the gap is bigger you go up in the % staged, what this does is reduce the STARTING miliseconds of the secondarys to get a smooth transition, once the transition period is over they run at the same miliseconds as the primarys.

SAABGUY,

jon said to start at 65% on the stage with it at 3500rpm and 5hg, and if it is still stumbling move it up to 70% etc, just watch you mixtures when it comes on boost ,

Bigwoogie,

that is the 4500 map, it is named load as it is used in normal mode and the main load curve, and it moved to the 4500 position when swapped to matrix mode.

what were the mixtures 10hg doing?? how lean?? how rich are you on boost??

Thanks Dale, that makes a lot more sense, I hope they correct it in the book.

Well, all I have to go on is a stock 02 sensor(replaced it when I installed my LT8). So my readings are not exact and I am over compensating in adjusting my maps as to prevent ANY CHANCE of detonation or leaning out.

Here goes:
At -10hg from 2000-3500 I was registering about 14.5-15.0 according to the readout on the data gauges screen. I know my 02 and Af ratio readings are not anywhere near perfect. But even when an inaccurate gauge tells me I am that lean I am gonna add some fuel. Did so, all is well, registers between 11.9-12.4 now.

Boost: My turbo doesnt begin to build boost until about 3250 RPMS, and at that, according to the readout in the data gauges window. I am hitting 11.3-11.8(which I am perfectly happy with). This is at 3500 RPMS, 5th gear, cruising on a long flat straightaway with 7 PSI of boost. I am very conservative with my boost settings, as I currently only have stock 550cc injectors all around. I do have a walbro, and my FPR is going in this weekend. I have 2 1680's on my desk in front of me now, but I keep getting crazy ideas. After seeing sweet adapter plates and kicking around ideas about just adding additional injectors has disrupted my plans again

Powering Through the -10hg mark, not sitting on it

Thanks dale. I will post up some data logs, I have 1 before, and one from today I will take from driving to work. I do have some questions on the data logging but that can wait until I post them up!

hehe, well I didnt get to data log my trip to work today. I went outside to start my car this morning and it wouldnt start. Aparently I ran it a little too rich yesterday, flooded and fouled the plugs REALLY bad. It is all sorted out now.

Everybody: Advance Autoparts sells NGK plugs for our cars with a 2 year replacement warranty STANDARD. I am now on my 4th set! and I have only spent 21 bucks thus far! just keep your receipt. I corrected my maps, going to get a log or 2 on the way home tonight
