When I first picked up the megasquirt to do a setup on my 86 corolla a while ago I didnt know a thing about soldering, I spent a little time researching the technique and some time testing it on the relay and stim boards. When I felt I was getting good enough to solder the megasquirt itself I made sure I followed every instruction closely. It took me about 8-10 hours but it ran up correctly on the first try. I think that as long as you spend your time making sure you got the proper technique of soldering and the patience to sit down and follow the instructions I think you would probably do just fine with assembling the megasquirt.

I'm actually working on a new adapter to work with the MS3+MS3x for sequential staged injection. That and you can use the MS3+MS3x+v3 board with *no modification* to run the engine assuming the ms3x VR conditioner doesn't have any noise issues with the VR signal.
