This just seems crazy that this one column needs SO much fuel. But that seems to be what it wants (actually seems to need MORE there still!)
Also, my 'resolution' seems very low... with the highest values in the 60s and lowest in the 20s. How can I make use of more values so changes of a value or 2 aren't so substantial?
Car is a S4, engine is a mutt of s4/s5 t2. 4x ID1000 injectors. stock-ish s5 turbo (BNR ported) at 11psi. AEM 340 fuel pump, AEM fuel pressure regulator.
Recent changes are the fuel system and turbo (was a stock s4 turbo before) and the 'spike' is more pronounced now, but it's always been a pretty similar map.
Can I just play with the 'Required Fuel' value to try to get better map resolution?
The VE values are around half of what it should be, I think the "Required fuel" value is wrong. Or maybe you have selected 4 injectors? (You should only set 2).
That peak in VE values is strange though. Can you post a .msq and maybe a datalog?
I wonder if it's a resonant-thing, do you have a fuel pulsation damper?

I'm thinking it's the fact that 2600cc was used in the Required Fuel calculation instead of 1300? From what I'm reading, 2600 was 'correct' in older firmwares? thats the difference between 4.35ms and 2.20.
.msq and a datalog attached
no pulsation damper

interesting ,any details on this issue? google is only finding really old results
wow, that seems like a pretty major bug. not sure how i have NOT run into it? Or can it occur but not be noticeable?
I'm going to try just smooth that whole spike area out (blend with neighboring cells) then add a bunch of fuel for safety and re-tune the whole area.
Perhaps it occurs and goes unnoticed at times, but it's also possible that it only occurs under certain conditions. I do know it has claimed engines though.
I think most fuel maps have some sort of peak or valley where the engine wants more or less fuel.
