Problems I've found so far with this msq:

1) Still have it set up for 4 injectors. You should set it to 2 injectors
2) Multiply MAP set to "Don't multiply." You almost definitely want it set to multiply
3) You have Incorporate AFR target turned on but stoich set to 0.0. You probably want 14.7
4) Your injector characteristics are all 0 (did you try to set this tune up starting from an empty configuration? If so, you need to go connect to the MS2 after a firmware reflash, save the defaults, and start from there).
5) Skip Pulses is set to 0, you probably want 3 here.
6) ....

I would say at this point I'm going to stop looking as every page has several settings messed up as if you started from an empty config instead of starting from the defaults stored on the MS after a firmware flash.

1) Your trigger angle/offset should be 0 degrees (this won't cause no RPM signal but will keep you from starting)
2) Ignition input capture should be rising edge (assuming you wired VROUT to TSEL and not VROUTINV to TSEL). This could keep you from getting RPM.
3) Cranking advance should be 0.0 (Again, won't keep you from getting RPM, but might make it hard to start)
4) I usually use less dwell, 2.6-3.0 is more than enough and won't send the ignitor into current-limit mode (can cause noise)
5) Second trigger should be active on every rotation of the crank instead of cam (this is likely to be keeping you from getting RPM).
6) Second trigger should be active on rising edge.

Can you try taking a composite log and posting it? That will confirm which signal is not coming in.

If the signal is erratic, you probably still have noise issues. I'll be able to tell for sure once you post it. If you have noise issues the ms won't get sync, and you won't get RPM.

okay i have it here what i saw yesterday looks different from what I see now

it doesnt seem to be a noise issue but i only see the 24 tooth wheel triggering no 2 tooth

how hard is the set up if i were just to do a missing tooth setup on an extra cas i have

Yeah it won't sync without the 2 tooth wheel.

Have you double checked your wiring from the G sensor into the MS?

Did you make sure your lm1815 circuit's output is connected to the correct chip input?

It isn't that hard to do the missing tooth setup, but on the rx7 that seems to be a bit more noise prone so I would try to get the 2nd trig working.

I went ahead and got my second cas and cut 2 teeth off I hate wiring on the megasquirt and I already know that the one on the board works

Any links on how to set up the missing tooth setup?

you'll have to set it up as a 12-1 crank mounted wheel. Where tooth #1 is depends on what teeth you cut off and how you stab it.

usually people who have problems with one EMS have problems with all of them.

No it wasn't meant as an insult.

I am glad it worked for you, but I have seen several cases of people switching from ms or to ms because of problems only to find they are still there.

In your case it sounds like the lm1815 may have been bad.
