If my rx7's small oil leak is fixed, and I get the rear rotors and pads installed, I'll probably take the trip in my rx7. Otherwise I'm going to take my rx8 or just fly down.

I'd love to make it, but the 7 is up on jack stands awaiting a new tranny and pilot bearing. Its also right in the middle of a few exams and projects, so I doubt I'll have the chance to drive it down from MI. The event sounds like it'll be awesome tho. Maybe next year...
You don't HAVE to drive your megasquirted car down. None of my cars have ever been in a mechanical condition that allows them to be driven that far (although I plan on having my rx7 in that condition for this meet if I get time). I've been to every spring meet since '05 though.
I flew to last year's meet in GA.
There are going to be a lot of interesting EFI and controls topics presented at the meet even if you don't have your car with you (I'll be presenting as well):
* Bruce and Ken: X-Tau and EAE Introduction/Discussion - 1hr
* Ken: PID Loops in laymens terms, with demo of tuning - 30min
* Phil Tobin: TunerStudio and MegaLogViewer - 30min
* Peter Florance: 'Practical Installation Tips' and 'Bringing it all online'. Best practices for wiring/installation. Avoiding, detecting, and correcting electrical noise. -- 1.5hrs

I wish I could go, but I'm too busy at work travelling all the time. Irony is that my car is running full ignition and fuel code ( FC3s TII) and I use it daily whenever I'm at home, but I live in Panama City, Panama...I wish I could drive there.
I'll be sure to tune to the recorded material listed muythaibxr.
sounds like a great meeting!

It was awesome
even though I was the only rx-7 who came
my FC put down 270 whp on the dyno and I got my idle valve working and tuned
It was a really long trip, but definitely worth it. and I got 22mpg!
I don't see any videos up anywhere yet. I'm sure me or muythaibxr will post when they're up.

Yeah, the videos are not up yet, but it was a good meet. We had successuful tests of the 0.1 version of the ms3 hardware and firmware as well. The first car to run on an actual ms3 was a fuel-injected FB with a 2nd gen ignition system. Fired up on the first try. You can see info about that here (keep checking it for updates, there will be several):

We also started one of Jerry's test cars, an old Chevy Nova on the ms3.
As far as Myk's car goes, we spent 6 hrs and 8 gallons of gas on a dynapak dyno load tuning it up to about 11-13 psi across the rev range. I'm pretty sure that after Myk installs his front-mount intercooler and gets rid of the greddy boost controller (which we didn't really try to hard to tune, but was not holding boost very stable. instead we'll be controlling boost with ms2/extra) he'll be close to, if not over 300 rwhp @ 15 psi.
The intellitach (DSP-based VR conditioning circuit) should REALLY help people with rx7's.

Yeah, Kyle at 1320video took over 8 hours of footage of the meet. All the presentations will be up, along with some of the dyno runs. Myk's dyno run won't be there though because we did that on Friday before the meet started (long dyno session, lasted about 6 hrs with some breaks for the engine to cool off).
